Everyone posts the wins and when someone important buys their work or they get that epic shill for their project.
Very rarely do they share the down moments. The moments where you just wanna give up.
2+ years grinding for all things LQC, doing everything legit. Amazing group of people behind it, gifted untold amounts of supply and art, encouraged others and built it from the ground up, released dope pfp collection that captures crypto better than most. Couldn’t find a more dedicated, ethical group with long term conviction.
For 2+ years you laugh and push through the insane ups and downs, and then one day, you realize you have 0 volume. And there’s nothing more you can do, you laid everything out on the table.
Those moments suck - LQMEOW
And you know what… still gonna move forward. Because it’s a brilliant meme and one of the best collections of the year. Literally up from here.

I'm not on the core team. I don't make decisions. I'm just a tech nerd who's been in this space through the ups and downs. And what's being said about the GVC founders is straight up unjustified.
Chris, Ty, Movki, Bry, Ronny, and Maison are the MOST genuine people I've met in web3. That's a hill I'll die on. I have a good feel for people, even over text, and I don't go out of my way to praise anyone. So when I do, it means something.
I've seen them scoop up NFTs from compromised holders to get them returned. I've seen them quietly gift NFTs to members for their effort, no announcement, no clout. I've seen them check in on people personally and be a shoulder to lean on. I've seen them weigh decision after decision trying to do right by the community.
They didn't take the money and run. They didn't cash out and leave behind empty promises. They never stopped building. Some things work, some things don't, but they haven't quit.
Criticism isn't a bad thing. You can't please everyone. But there's a difference between criticism and being a dick, and a lot of you would rather be a pecker than a decent human being.
My conviction in GVC hasn't changed, and that's because of the team and the community that stuck through all of it. Price goes up, price goes down. That's the game. Say this next part with me: projects do not control the market. They can try everything they can think of and still can't force it to move. Adapt or die, and GVC has done nothing but adapt.
So remember, there are real people behind these PFPs. Opinions are welcome. Hate can GFTO.

if u have a big spot bag for a bull market that you don’t fk with then u should be making money no matter what (as long as you own the right thing lol but they are mostly obvious now)
if u do well at perp/on chain then that’s nice, but u gotta tp there in this type of market and keep rolling profits into the spot bag
so basically ur spot bag either compounds from price action + rolling profits on the other two, or if you lose on the other two you still make money on spot
but when u comingle and never have a large spot bag that’s how u end up losing money in a bull mkt just cutting urself up chasing everything
