Since hearing his wonderful Revolution Shuffle album i've been revisiting lots of Michael Pisaro-Liu. Something in particular fits perfectly with the long nights: sounds softly ebbing & flowing, merging with your surroundings, then gently tipping into something otherworldly.

I first worked with @house_apartment in June 1996, when they played my ‘Five Preludes’ in a concert at the October Gallery in London.
I composed ‘Riis’ for the ensemble that summer and it was first performed 25 years ago today.
