Cantor Fitzgerald, run by Lutnick’s sons Brandon and Kyle, helped raise $210 million for a related entity involved in the transaction. The NYT identified at least 14 other companies with ties to the Trump or Lutnick families that are actively pursuing U.S. government-backed critical minerals projects, with roughly half of the administration’s $19 billion in approved federal funding going to these linked entities.
