midnight has been... dark? lol lmao even correct me if I'm wrong but aside from indirect casulties caused by her allies and the Devouring Host... I don't think she's even killed anyone directly during the worldsoul saga, certainly not any named characters. No body horror stuff despite being a possessed corpse. She's been kinda mean and untrustworthy but that's it :/ am I crazy here?

I've been thinking about why Arator is such a mixed bag in Midnight, and the best way to communicate that is in how he's become the "new Anduin". Because I dont think he's Anduin's story replacement, I think he's the same kind of narrative tool -- to espouse the story's message.

I am far more offended at the concept of the Chronicles lore about the Trolls defeating the Black Empire in Zul'Aman by themselves being retconned to have been a lie and they needed help or some dumbshit! That sounded like lore ripe for retelling tossed aside so Zul'Jan can die
