Hey, I know it’s bad form and I hate to ask for a favor from the twitterverse but my little dog got spooked and ran away. Been searching for him for hours on foot and in my car. Last saw him on 25th st. near Alabama st. He looks like this.

Musk is an entitled oaf, bumbling into a fragile internet ecosystem and breaking it as he tries to find any way to make money other than those Twitter has proven to be successful at. Selling data to AI companies will not pull him out of this hole. wheresyoured.at/p/the-end-of…

Today's newsletter is about the battle for text-based social networking between two billionaires that don't care about their users - and how Threads is dead on arrival, a mediocre algorithmic nightmare of content slop that barely resembles entertainment. wheresyoured.at/p/the-end-of…

The End of the Honest Internet

The concept of “free” social networking is a kind of unspoken social-financial contract that only exists as long as operators understand the value that users are creating. A user posts for “free,”...

Hi @darth I adopted these two Kittens this week, and while Crunchwrap Supreme (right) has a name, I still need a gender-neutral name for the other nugget. Thoughts?

Li’l kitten Baby Jane (#10) really wants to win #JuneHamsness. But above all, she believes in love. Of people for each other; of people for pets. After all, love saved her life. (And see @mrfishtopher’s pinned tweet for more love can do). So win or lose, just remember: love. 🧡 – at Baltimore, MD

It is very important to note this SCOTUS ruling does NOT remove Biden’s ability to pursue student loan forgiveness. The Biden Admin can use the HEA (Higher Ed Act) - our position from the start - to continue loan forgiveness before payments resume. They should do so ASAP.

BREAKING: the Supreme Court STRIKES DOWN President Biden's student-debt-relief plan by a 6-3 vote. The plan is not authorized by the HEROES Act—the law relied upon by Biden's education secretary.

a golden retriever puppy on a bright pink rope leash prances through some tall grass. he’s wearing a brightly patterned bandana around his neck and is carrying a miniature six-stripe pride flag in his mouth. his front right paw is raised mid-stride, like he’s ready to hop into a pride parade at any second.

The abject cruelty of the campaign against this woman isn’t, as Dylan says, “politics.” People’s right to exist isn’t a political issue. It’s a life and death one. Nobody should be “voting” on whether she can live and to make it political is ghoulish and barbaric

This is Douglas. He got a little taste of a pup cone today. It's like a pup cup but more luxurious. 12/10
a towering ice cream cone of tasty goodness is in the foreground, with douglas the blond cocker spaniel right behind it. he’s licking the very tippy top of the ice cream cone with an outstretched pink tongue, and he’s looking up and away as if trying to savor this flavor forever.

the blond cocker spaniel with slightly damp fur looks patiently up at a person who’s holding an ice cream cone out in front of him. he seems to believe this offer is too good to be true. he has a tiny dot of the cream on his nose that matches the white speckles of fur along his nose and forehead.

douglas is trying a new technique. his head is now sideways, one damp ear dangling down, as he approaches the cone with an open mouth, hoping to get a big chomp of ice cream this time. the cone in front of his face is about half gone now, yet there’s only a little bit on his face. he must be a very tidy eater.
