xtralab has been my daily driver for software development for the past few months.
It’s JupyterLab with opinionated defaults and pre-installed extensions for working with coding agents. I use it with Claude Code, Codex, and Pi most of the time.

Congratulations to the Mojo 1.0 release @Modular! So glad to have you in our community, and seeing @clattner_llvm on stage with `pixi` in the background was definitely a highlight for us.

Conda packages can have extras now.
Optional dependency groups you declare and then consume, via v3 repodata. Plus when conditions and variant flags.
This should also be available on conda-forge in the near future!

Recently I have been working on an opinionated JupyterLab metapackage for coding agents, called xtralab.
It's JupyterLab with a set of extra extensions and curated defaults tailored for agentic workflows.
If folks are interested, I may do a more in-depth video walkthrough soon!

Our not-too-secret project allows Pixi to depend on packages built from source. Build graphs, multi-language support and more are handled transparently. Sounds great, doesn't it? Then let us finally introduce it officially! prefix.dev/blog/pixi-build

I recorded a short video on Toad's shell.
If we are going to use AI in the terminal, it shouldn't replace the kind of terminal workflows devs have been using for years.
We can keep the stuff that worked from the past. While benefiting from AI.
Give Toad a try! 🐸

Textual 1.0 has been released. 🥳
Three years in the making. A TUI framework that is bigger than the terminal.
To celebrate, I want to give away some trade secrets. Because I am appalling at keeping secrets.
Tell me what you think of the diagrams...
