It's World Cancer Day and 10 years ago this year I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I can't believe it was a decade ago
This is me in hospital waiting to have a mastectomy. I'm smiling but god I was so anxious, so worried I wouldn't wake up from the anaesthetic
If you are going through cancer right now I want to send you so much love. It's hard, it's draining, it's emotional, there are lows and there are highs sometimes too. Kids, partners, family and friends go through it all with you as well. It's definitely tough on them
With the skill and compassion of NHS staff, you are in THE best hands. They know what they are doing and they want to make you well. So you can hopefully get on with the rest of your life ❤️
