How does giving another meet to people within the meets, grow the sport?
I had 61 people ready for learn-to-swim into swim club participation. Had a whole system set up. All organically sourced.

I’m not sure how 20 year olds swimming in a summer meet grows the sport.
Growing the sport begins with water safety education, swim lessons, and summer league.
These young adults are about to leave the sport and most will never return. Or, they will go on a 6 year hiatus before they find their way back to the pool.
USAS should partner up with the biggest health insurers in America to grow the sport.
We need to win first. We need to win early. And that begins in the hospitals.

Then you should prolly create a national summer league directory (the lifeblood of membership) so you can communicate to your base and offer incentives to join.
A long course college summer meet sounds like fun, though.

The Grant House ruling is about to mess up recruiting tremendously. Going to be a lot of good swimmers from not good teams, not get to situations to maximize their talents.
In football a lot of P4 teams recruit the portal primary. About to be an epic fallout

Last time this happened to me I was a Freshman at Univ of Texas. Needed 80lbs of counter-weight.
3-months later the upperclassman laughing at me got to watch me take one of their spots on a relay.
Master the tucked kick: V-sit hold, straighten and bend knees without pushing water, dont let hips disengage from tucked position.
You master that position, you can now down kick, upkick, use the "hips"(glutes) and achieve 3-kicks per 1.1 seconds that all elite UWDKers have.
