My vision for IPL in the long term ( a long thread)
Till the mid 2010s IPL for me was a recreational sport and I didnt take it that seriously as I was more invested in the ICT but things changed and I got to understand the greatness of #IPL and started taking it much more
For a traditional Test cricket fan like me it hurts when batters throw their wkts whem their team is in the position of strength.Ackerman was batting like a dream and then he threw his wkt trying to hit a six..This changed the whole complexion of the match.If not for this brain
fade ,SA could have probably scored upwards of 450 runs..Teams not being clinical from the positiom of strength is happening time and again in the last few yrs..In that 2024 IND vs ENG series 3-4 IND batters including Shreyas & KL threw their wkt which ultimately costed IND
