Kurdistan is full of caucasians, tajiks, khazar jews, scythians, akkadians....
They all brought their own beliefs like Yarezanism, Alawism,Zoroastrianism and etc...
Welcome but be aware that Kurdistan and original Kurds are of Abrahamite belief and proto-indoeuropean origin! Just remain as guests even if you are all assimilated you are still genetically guests and assimilated converters...

And the birth of the "ABRAHAMITE" belief....
Aferîna bawerîya "ÎBRAHÎMÎ" her ji wir de dest pê dike, ku em pê re dibêjin KURD e...
Manc is actually Manj ...
Why should actually Manj means Human in Kurmanci when on the other side we have Merî/Mîrov for instance?
In kurdish especially Kurmancî we see clearly a spiritual line distinct from the regular line. For instance i will explain you with the word "mother".
Whereas almost all indoeuropean languages use ma-,mu-,me-,mo- for Mother Kurdish speaker use Da-,Dê- as well as some other people like Lur Da-,De-...
The spiritual side hereby is that it is linked to Farming culture from which the spiritual meaning is anchored.
Everything which goes down to the ground starts with da- in Kurdish especially Kurmancî like:
Dayîn - to put
Daketin - landing, get off, get down
Dawestin - to stand
Daliqî - hanging down
Etc...
The ground was after seeding that instance which gives later the birth of grain and other things for eating..
In german the ground/ soil / earth is also called "MUTTERERDE" which means mother earth / topsoil. Again we see "MOTHER" linked to earth/ soil...
Therefore it has a spiritual interpretation made by Kurds forefathers to link it with GODS genesis.
Whereas MA- or ME-/MÊ-/MÊH is used for the word feminine in general and now pay attention -> for the ANIMAL MOTHER!
Like in "Ma-k/Ma-yik"... in Kurmancî and as well i guess in Zazakî the animal mother is not called Da-/Dê... that is something ashamed!
Some Examples:
Zimanê zikmakî - native language
şîremakî - cool, fresh (like the milk of animals mother)
beremok/bermoki/bermakî - the lamb suckle at the mother's teats..
Now with that understanding that Kurds forefathers used the language not just straight instead they used it carefully and splitted it into spiritual, non-spiritual and animalistic clusters..
This guy asked why i gave an example from germanic or foreign languages and not from Iranian languages to describe what the Manc/Manj in Kur-Manc/Kur-Mancî means.
And here we go first with the etymological PIE root of Man-, Men
From Proto-Indo-European *mon- (“man”) or *men- (“to mind; to stay”)
Further:
*men- (perfective)
to think, mind
In Kurmancî "man" as the PIE root for "to stay" means exactly letter for letter "man".
The human being is the only creature can walk, stay on his two legs! That describes his attribute which DISTINGUISH him from the animals.
That is a definition it should be noted very basical before attaching significance to it. While the human being which is able to stay on his two legs has also the ability and capability "to think" in contrast to animals so "man" became the definition of "to think" either. Like in:
mane = meaning
Ra-Man = thinking, the thought
mane-dar = meaningfully
Etc..
The spiritual "HUMAN" as a term in Kurdish language was herewith born!
Why spiritual?
While created by god as the holy and blessed one!
Now God gives his own creation a language called MAN/MANI...
But how it evolved to MAN-JI? Or KUR-MAN-JI?
The first god creted was MAN, who possesed the ability to think. The language he spoke was MAN-Î.
His progenies called "KUR-MAN-Î-JI" litterally means: The sons/progenies of MAN the one who speaks the language MAN-Î and those who descend from him KUR-MAN-Î.
What does than the JI mean?
Simply in Kurmancî "JI" means "from" as a Preposition!
Therefore MAN-Î-JI -> MANÎJ -> MANJ -> MANC means just "HUMAN"....
In germanic languages the development of the word "Mensch" (human being):
From Middle High German mensche, mensch, from Old High German mennisko, a substantivization of the adjective mennisk, from Proto-West Germanic *mannisk, from Proto-Germanic *manniskaz (“human”), from Proto-Germanic *mann- (“human, man”).
From Proto-Indo-European *mon- (“man”) or *men- (“to mind; to stay”).
Viel Spass beim Lesen!

On the other side the dress you see below worn by the shepherd is called in Kurmancî "Kulav" and is not the same as the "Kurtik" the women wear....
Kurds must prevent such people from distorting our language...!
As for instance i uploaded a picture of an albanian elder man wearing the national albanian hat called "Qeleshe/Plis" or also "Qylaf".
As seen Qylaf the similar one to kurdish "Kulav".
The reason why the albanians use it for hat or headdress but Kurds for the garment worn by shepherds is due to the material and process used for knitting the albanian hat "Qelesh/Plis/Qylaf" and the kurdish garment "Kulav".
In Kurmancî that material is called "Filîk" whereas in english it is called "Fleece" and in german "Vlies" ( V readen as F in german). As we see in albanian the hat is also called "Plis". And we know the shift of P->F or F->P in indoeuropean languages which confirms it.
How did ancient people make woollen clothes WITHOUT machines? 🐑🧵
1. Raised sheep.
2. Sheared the wool.
3. Washed it clean.
4. Combed out tangles.
5. Spun fibres into yarn by hand.
6. Wove yarn into fabric on wooden looms.
7. Pressed and rubbed it to thicken the cloth.
8. Dyed it with natural colours.
9. Stitched it into clothes.
Filîk is a type of shaggy mat or sheepskin, bonded together into a thick layer so as to be pneumatically airtight.
The attempts of ARI are totally failed and have nothing to do with an indo-arian->indo-iranian origin of the word KURD coming from an unknown tribe called Kyrti linked to Kurtik garment and whatever with supposed root in Ariyana Varjeam or what ever his R1a-Z93 unknown non-kurdish forefathers came from....
