Today I was invited by a local college to speak with students about entrepreneurship. The thing that stayed with me is that these young people have real dreams, but even at this age they are already scared to go off track. I told them the World Mobile story. We started in Zanzibar with a few hundred users and one simple idea: people should own the network they pay for. Operators told us it couldn't be done. Regulators told us it couldn't be done. Plenty of investors told us it couldn't be done. Today that idea has connected more than 3 million previously unconnected adults and 300,000 children across three continents. The "you can't" has never stopped, and the last few weeks have been louder than ever. After the bridge attack, people rushed to write us off. Numbers have been twisted, history has been rewritten, and things have been said about me and this company that are simply not true. Some of it has come from people who once stood beside us. So here is what I told the students, and it's what I'm telling our community. Your life will be full of people telling you what you can and can't do: loved ones, friends, business partners, investors and complete strangers. Some will even lie about you. Listen to criticism that makes you better. Ignore the people who only want you to stop or want you to fail. There will be times when it looks like you're failing. That is a moment in time, not the end of the story. Stick to your guns. Bring the drive, the determination and the grit, and make sure the idea underneath it all is logical and sound. What matters isn't where you are today. What matters is where you end up. World Mobile isn't stopping, and neither should those students. We are building, and I want them building too. Every one of them will hear "you can't" more times than they can count. We hear it every day. The answer is the same for all of us: keep going and smash through everything in your way.

Everyone's asking me about Starlink this week. My take: it's all bullish. The world's largest satellite operator just told millions of people the sharing economy works. Share your connection, get paid for it. We agree. We've been building exactly that for 6 years. 14 MHz of 800 MHz spectrum is good low band, but it's a thin slice. It's a statement for now. Satellites pass overhead for a few minutes and spend most of their orbit over the ocean. Hydrogen-powered aircraft at 60,000 feet stay over the people for days. Update on the WMTX bridge incident. Where we are. The exploit was on the @SingularityNET bridge. Unauthorised WMTX was minted on Ethereum. It's contained. Minting is stopped, the pre exploit snapshot is done, and exchange trading is paused while we finish the work to reopen safely. The team has been on it since the first hour with the exchanges, market makers, security partners and law enforcement. We've had a call with the @SingularityNET team and we're working through their incident reports with @zeroshadow_io alongside our own people. We still haven't heard from @bengoertzel, even though his team said he would call. @coinbase have been brilliant. @bitvavocom, @krakenfx and @chainlink equally. When it mattered, they picked up the phone and moved. Detailed holder updates are in Discord. What I've learned. 1. What a community. Within hours the messages, the support and the offers of help were pouring in from every corner. Mobilers, you rock! 2. What a team. The people inside World Mobile have turned this around fast. 3. Humans will be humans. When you're down, some people will try to kick you. Water off a duck's back. We're building. They're posting. 4. Own your infrastructure. In July the Wanchain bridge lost 515 million NIGHT. Bridge after bridge, the same story. It's not just us, we got lucky because the damage was mitigated so quickly by our own people and our partners.
