At this moment in history, when France is at risk of disappearing, my friend @Erga3x and I decided to perform a 19th-century hymn to Saint Joan of Arc, who led French troops during the Hundred Years’ War and reclaimed the throne.⚜️ More than six centuries after her trafic death, Joan remains a symbol of courage and love for one’s country. She reminds us that even when everything seems lost, a single person driven by faith and determination can awaken an entire nation. (Find the link to our folk music channel in the description.)

I don’t want to post the video. You’ve all seen it. But I do want to write a love letter… Dear everyone in Britain, ( even you illegals) Just so you understand. The poppy is for the boys who never got to grow old. For the boys who were still somebody’s baby, brother, uncle or father. More than 600,000 of them. It doesn’t matter if you support war, hate your country, think you are a woman (even though you are a man). It doesn’t matter which God you pray to, or if you pray to none at all. It doesn’t matter who you vote for, what climate narrative you believe, or whether you believe Israel should exist or not! The poppy isn’t for you! It’s for those who came before. Those who fought for your right to be weird, annoying or even foreign. The poppy is how we say thank you. Thank you for giving us time, peace and choice. And attempting to ban our poppy by declaring it politically divisive isn’t a move towards freedom. It is an act of suppression. Understand that. The poppy is about love and loss. For you! So stick your rainbow flags and every other flag where the sun doesn’t shine and just wear your poppy. Those boys did not die as symbols. They died for you! Did you know that poppies grew across the battlefields where so many fell? As though even the land refused to forget the blood once given to defend it. So the poppy is for them. For those who came before us and paid in youth, in hope, in breath, in blood, so that we might have the freedom to be arseholes. So that we might even have the freedom to fight over the ridiculous, the inconsequential and the insane. Revere it, celebrate it and wear it. The very least you can do is that. Best The ordinary people.

This has gone viral in France. The wonderful black woman is a credit to France. The smug, haute-bourgeois blonde an embarrassment.
“Your shops that got looted were nice, okay, but we’re starving.” People looked this girl up and her dad is a corporate executive who worked for Shell. What a smug psychopath.

The irony is a British women’s football team competing at the Olympics will NOT have to play against males but in a women’s World Cup brought to the uk (with tax payers money) females would have to play males regardless of Uk law saying that should not happen! Because @UKLabour voted against assured fair & safe sport for women & girls yesterday & the fence sitting @LibDems abstained 🤨 Our girls deserve reality sex based rights in sport

Did I miss the bit in Andy Burnham’s speech where he talked about how he’s going to GROW the economy, reduce the rising crippling debt, or in fact reduce our energy bills so any Uk industry can be competitive with the rest of the world?

Remember all the triple lock really does is keep an old age pension (which many have spent between 40-50 years paying into in with NI contributions) up with inflation so pensioners can afford to pay their heating & food bills. We also have one of the poorest pensions in Europe.

How? 😡
UPDATE: The Dutch Palestine Action fan who vandalised Winston Churchill’s statue with slogans like “Globalise the Intifada” and red triangles was just found NOT GUILTY of criminal damage. This country’s legal system is a nasty joke.

Antifa protesters followed us after our university debate stand. Bristol police did absolutely nothing as two masked men chased us while we were trying to get into our cars. They banned the Patriot Platform from wearing masks, yet seem perfectly happy to tolerate it when masked protesters on the far left do it.

Remembering all those affected by the tragic events of 9/11, 25 years ago today. A commemorative Guard Change took place on the forecourt of Buckingham Palace this morning, during which The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester took the Royal Salute on behalf of The King. The ceremony included performances of both US and UK National Anthems, Hymn to the Fallen and Amazing Grace. Earlier this year, Their Majesties paid their respects at the 9/11 Memorial in New York, as part of the State Visit to the United States.

Why? Why were they ahead of their time? I never get that bogus cliche. They did spectacularly well at the time. Huge. People always want to claim old acts for themselves now.

Female means possessing the reproductive system that produces eggs instead of sperm. It is irrelevant whether said system is defective, immature or surgically altered. I just described every female on earth.
Every time I've traded biological arguments with the "gender critical" not ONE of them can define female in a way that doesn't exclude a lot of non trans women.

Rayner's £182,000 Masterclass In Hypocrisy Angela Rayner spent years telling the country that MPs' second jobs were a racket. In March 2023 she wrote that being an MP "isn't a second job. It is the job." Labour, she promised, would put an end to the practice. Eighteen months later she resigned from Cabinet in disgrace over her own financial affairs. Within a year she had earned £182,376 from speeches, book advances and a severance payment she had no obligation to keep. Then she walked straight back into the job she had left. The figures are not subtle. She earned £104,000 from speaking fees in ten months, on top of an MP's salary that rose to £98,599 in April. She took £61,500 as a book advance for a memoir about her own life. She kept a £16,876 exit payment while Wes Streeting, reappointed to Cabinet the same week, is serving his first three months for nothing. One fee stands apart from the rest. Propertymark, a trade body representing the property sector, paid Rayner £20,000 for a two-hour speaking engagement. That is £10,000 an hour, from an industry lobby group, paid to a former Housing Secretary weeks before she was reappointed Housing Secretary. Nobody pays that rate for after-dinner charm. They pay it for access, and they got exactly what they paid for. This is not a speaking fee. It is a retainer with a lectern attached. The woman collecting these cheques left the department with a housebuilding record to be ashamed of. Official figures published by the Ministry of Housing in November show England delivered 208,600 net additional dwellings in 2024-25, a fall of 6 per cent on the year before. New build completions dropped from 198,610 to 190,600. Labour's manifesto promised 1.5 million homes over the Parliament, a rate of 300,000 a year. Rayner delivered barely two-thirds of that. Housebuilding did not accelerate under her stewardship. It slowed. She has an answer ready for all of it. The severance payment was earned, she told BBC Radio 5 Live, because she had genuinely left government for a period of time. That defence collapses under its own logic. The payment exists to cushion ministers against sudden unemployment. Rayner was not unemployed. She was the best-paid backbencher in Britain, drawing more from four speeches than most of her constituents earn in three years. Joanna Marchong of the think tank Onward put it plainly: Rayner built her brand attacking Tory sleaze and demanding a ban on MPs' outside earnings, then pocketed £180,000 the moment the rules stopped applying to her. Lee Anderson called her year out a good little earner. Both are right, and neither goes far enough. The deeper failure sits in the housing numbers, where the gap between rhetoric and delivery is measured not in pounds but in homes that were never built. Labour came to power promising a government that would look different from what came before it. Rayner's year off shows how quickly that promise curdles into the same old story: rules for the public, exemptions for the powerful, and a lobby group's cheque book standing in for genuine accountability. She missed her housing target by a third and was rewarded with reappointment. She broke her own stated principle on second jobs and was rewarded with £182,376. The voters who elected this government on a promise of change deserve to know that the change stopped at the Cabinet door. "Rayner's year off shows how quickly that promise curdles into the same old story: rules for the public, exemptions for the powerful"

🔥 Angela Rayner’s HEATED CLASH with Rob Rinder on GMB exposes hypocrisy over the money. Rinder put it to her straight: “When Conservative ministers did that and you described them as having a staggering lack of shame. You’re back as Housing Secretary and you’ve kept the money so help me understand why that isn’t hypocritical?” Rayner claimed her case is different because those Tories were only in the job for weeks, while she was there for nearly a year: “People were in government for a number of weeks in some cases and accepted sums of severances in the thousands, only to return to government weeks later.” Rinder wasn’t buying it: “A number of people didn’t come back and they kept the money, you said they had a staggering lack of shame — but in your case that doesn’t apply?” Her reply: “If you’ve been in the job for a couple of weeks and accepted thousands of pounds, that is very different from the circumstances that I was in.” No, Angela. It’s no different. You were in the job for under a year, had to resign over unpaid tax allegations, took the £16,876 severance, then returned to the exact same role and kept every penny. You should hand that money back. You are a shameless money-grabbing hypocrite! What’s worse is that you’ve spent years lecturing others about their behaviour, yet the moment you step into government you do the very same thing. Disgraceful.
