also while i'm on this topic, i've had multiple people report incompatibilities w/ mods where i've pinpointed exactly where in my mod the issue is, but there's nothing i can do bc the other mod is no available source, ARR, and vibecoded so im sure the original dev wouldn't know

im speaking from experience btw using ai to code for you esp for personal projects just doesn't feel good, and if you want to maintain the project long term you will probably need to re do the code anyway. Also good luck documenting it well I am glad i moved away from it

vibe coded mods getting popular will cause a lot more of this if you try to make a mod and only view it as the means to an end to add it to the game without even caring about the surrounding ecosystem, you are asking to make other mod devs lives a living hell

basically what i'm getting at is that AI assistance for learning is one thing (and honestly for minor queries search engines are getting worse so many do ask ai),but having an entire project made and "maintained" by AI has inherent problems that come from that mindset of creation
