This is an extraordinary and very unusual letter from a senior police officer
Labour let out this prolific offender early last Thursday - and he has already embarked on a crime spree, stealing and creating misery.
The government did not even bother to tag all offenders on release, as they said they would, leaving criminals free to commit crime. Labour’s reckless and botched release scheme is unleashing a crime wave already
They did not need to do this. There are prison places available that could be used now with a little work.
And it shows why the Conservative plan to build 50,000 more prison places is so important

Well said Simon Jordan - who points out some inconvenient truths on illegal migration. And no, his commentary isn’t racist. He’s simply saying in blunt terms what millions of people are saying up and down the country. And no, they aren’t racist either.

My wife and daughter went to see Ed Sheeran tonight.
They prefer not to see Macklemore.
Tickets were less than $40 each.
They say it’s packed. Lots of young couples and families. And they didn’t see any protestors on their way into the concert.
It’s going to be a great time!

As a former police sergeant who policed football matches in Bristol, I know the basic principles of public-order policing.
When you have opposing groups with the potential for confrontation, you keep them apart.
That’s basic tactical policing: separation, controlled movement and preventing confrontation before it happens.
So allowing opposing factions at an immigration protest to meet head-on seems completely at odds with those principles and police tactics.
@ZiaYusufUK
This needs to be scrutinised immediately.
🚨 ‘What on earth are the police playing at?’ 🚨
Zia Yusuf demands answers after pro-migration protesters were marched into the area where anti-migration protesters were gathered
Even the reporter said: ‘I really have no answer as to why they’ve done that’

‘What is the difference between Labour taking £4 million from a hedge fund based in the Cayman Islands, and Reform taking millions from two men?’
@Lewis_Goodall puts Labour’s donations record to Angela Rayner as Reform's crypto billionaire backing comes under scrutiny.
Straight forward and common sense from @centre_right_ this morning. There are powers that the police could invoke but they are too weak to do it.
🚨 JUST IN 🚨
England have asked for an investigation into referee Ismail Elfath following their controversial 2-1 loss to Argentina. The referee refused to give early yellow cards for multiple late challenges on the England players, including what should have been a straight red card for Enzo Fernández after he elbowed Elliot Anderson in the back of the head. And as soon as any contact was made on Messi, a yellow card was produced.
The referee has officiated Messi multiple times before, in which Messi has a 100% record, and could be seen in conversation throughout the match. Argentina looked to wind up the England players, seemingly knowing that there would be no punishment and were allowed to get away with it. The refereeing completely suited the style of the Argentinians, and exactly why it has been speculated that FIFA have allowed this to ensure that Lionel Messi made it to the final due to his stature within the US after his move to Inter Miami."

🚨 ÚLTIMA HORA: Acaban de filtrar un vídeo de 5 minutos sobre todos los robos de Argentina a Inglaterra.
Esto es un escándalo Mundial.
What a sharp and quick thinking young lady this is. Personally I feel the ban is a sledgehammer to crack a nut.

Apparently this video isn’t enough evidence to convict the guy in blue for assaulting all three police officers
Yet Lucy Connolly got two years in prison for an off colour tweet - prosecutions Keir Starmer encouraged

If I am a copper right now, I’d be temped to leave the force.
Today is a dark day for our criminal justice system.

Feargal Sharkey, "Water companies... The fines don't work, it's time we actually started upholding the law, and sending some of these executives and directors to jail"
Krishnan Guru-Murthy, "You think we should put them in jail?"
Feargal Sharkey, "If we put one water company boss in jail for six weeks the whole industry would transform itself"

She'll get Chief Inspectors' pay and pension.
She was elected to the position unopposed, having been complicit in unlawfully removing both @Rich_Cooke1 and I from office - so no one stood against her.

And there is the nub of it all, yet more spin from the EA and Defra.
Reality? 3,000 breach’s of England’s pollution laws and not a damn thing happens to any water industry fat cat, CEO or board member.
What a hoax.
3000 breaches of pollution laws by England water companies.
Companies have more than 1200 criminal prosecutions
None had licence cancelled.
No exec prosecuted.
Companies negotiate fines.
Fines waived or deferred.
Any pressure points for better conduct?
