Tesla will wind down Cybertruck production around mid-2027, CEO Elon Musk says, after years of persistently weak sales for a futuristic model once touted as a rival to legacy pickup trucks. nbcnews.com/tech/tech-news/t…
CODEX: For someone with your experience, I'd estimate 2-4 days for a useful prototype, or 1-2 weeks for something reliable enough to use with clients.
ME: Your estimate is hilarious because of course I'm gonna have you or one of your cousins build it.

Just as a reminder of when Animal Crossing: New Horizons came out, my daughter still has a Black Lives Matter sign on the front lawn of her house on our island
What comes after automation? Obviously it’s taking notes with a fountain pen while @joshm gives a talk about an AI voice notes app that talks back at you

When I'm elected, I'll represent all 82 counties and every Mississippian, no matter who they voted for. That's what being your senator means. #MississippiMatters
Claude Duet committed my cardinal sin of proactive assistants: it misinterpreted something in one meeting note as the opposite of reality, then spun up multiple annoying task reminders based on the wrong info.
Plus, I’m back to finding the Claude “vibe” to be just a schoolmarm-ish buzzkill who insists on being right, and that is MY job, robot
Something about me that feels like bragging, but is a real life challenge: I have a _lot_ of deep knowledge about the things I know well, and can easily overwhelm people (and myself tbh) with detail.
If they don't — if they're hoping to figure out what they want the job to be and how you'll fit in as they talk to you — on one hand you have a potentially willing buyer on the line, on the other you have no idea what you're selling and what winning looks like.
We generally don't have to worry about hallucination anymore, but we still have to be vigilant against AI offering to do something and then just… not
