I wonder why Riku’s hair is so long in KH2. What if it reflects his mental state? He wants to see Sora, but he can’t face him as he is. Maybe he grew his hair out to hide himself.

kingdom hearts is such a fleeting, beautiful game. i imagine sora disappearing into particles of light, but the thought of someone like him bleeding like any other human makes him feel all the more precious to me.

personally, the way i see riku, he’s the type whose emotions are heavily influenced by sora, so i don’t think he can ever be truly happy that easily. but as long as sora is by his side, i think those are happy moments for him
