Nice to be finally getting stuck into some work on the land as well as the start of an exciting new chapter 🧅
Roadside ash tree safely and efficiently removed today by Simpson Arboriculture. Completely rotten and posing a serious road safety risk. 🌳💪

Nemo potatoes looking fantastic in the Lincolnshire sunshine! Could do with some free irrigation though. 🌧️🤞🏻🥔

A fantastic effort from everyone involved in potato planting 25, just shy of 700 acres in 24 days. Time for a beer @AubournFarming 🥔🏁🍺

Planting 24 all tied up. Helpers out with me today for the last bit. Good team work as ever @AubournFarming 💪🥔☀️✌️
Getting the 23 potato crop in a corner now but it looks like tonight’s rain is going to just beat us to the finish line 🏁. Considerably less than the 15mm of rain forecast would be greatly appreciated!!
Finally into the wheat 🌾 so halfway through. 10 more days to go 🤞. All yields disappointing particularly the winter beans which looked so promising.

The end is in sight, where was this sunshine 4 weeks ago?! @AubournFarming making some tidy Kitkats. ☀️😎☀️🥔🥔🥔
Conditions👌 for putting slurry onto Spring Barley for @GFPagriculture . Finally got the @VogelsangUK booms on the @Bauer_FAN_UK tanker. Should have gone with them from new 🤦♂️
Working land down for sugar beet for @BritishSugar. Fantastic output from the 12m Dalbo and the @JohnDeere 9RX and even some dust!

A busy day with @AubournFarming getting a few tatties in before the rain! ☔️🥔🚜. Now time to steal some of the kids Easter eggs 🐣🍫
Bit of a brown trouser moment today when a sink hole developed on the headland in the beet field we were lifting. Harvester and trailers had been over the area several times already then one of the tractors just suddenly began to drop out of site😮
Sun setting on another potato harvest. 10 acres left for tomorrow should see our earliest ever finish. I appreciate its unlikely but if you are looking for any help with lifting please DM 😀
