Everyone has randomly became music executives and A&R’s. Why does everything have to be about numbers and where someone charted at? And if they didn’t chart high enough to twitter’s standards, which is stupid in itself, then it’s a flop.

I genuinely think music criticism on this app has gotten so lazy, mean-spirited, and repetitive. And no, you don’t have to like everything an artist releases. I certainly don’t. But there’s a difference between criticizing someone’s music and making them the punching bag of the week. I wish some of y’all loved discussing music as much as you love dragging the people making it.

My thing is,how can anyone claim Chloe’s career isn’t going anywhere ? She is consistently performing, collaborating, and creating. More importantly, she is making a living doing what she loves. Isn’t that the ultimate goal for an artist? Y’all standard of success is flawed.

There’s nothing wrong with not liking a performance, or even having critiques of a performance. I think that’s the nature of art and not necessarily a bad thing. But some of yall genuinely lack the ability and nuance to actually critique something beyond your personal dislike

I really don’t understand why people hold celebrities to these unattainable standards. She may be a trained professional, but it is not practical for her to sing live at every point, every night for multiple hours. All while doing full choreography. No artist does that.
