I do feel bad for Lamine because every year it’s always “next year.” But the fact that he’s only 19 and has finished in the top 3 of the Ballon d’Or two years in a row, competing against the best players in the world, says a lot about how good he already is. And the fact that he’s consistently up there while the rest of the top 3 keeps changing makes it even more impressive. However, I do think him finishing 3rd this year is ridiculous. He deserved at least 2nd.
