A lot of business owners expect YouTube to go straight from: post video → get revenue That’s usually not how it works. Revenue growth on YouTube is built in layers. First, you need to publish enough for the channel to have a real base. Then you need attention. Then relevance. Then trust. Then action. And only after that do you start seeing revenue come through. That’s why I think a lot of founders judge their channel too early. They’re looking for top-of-pyramid results before the bottom of the pyramid is even there.

for people who are saying cinematic ai is killing art. she would need a $1-$10M budget to produce a movie like this with multiple actors, sets, cameraman, post production crew, sound designers, insurance, food, etc. so you are basically saying only people with budget can / should make art. i wholeheartedly reject that

Dang, you’re right! I forgot to look into the actors and set designers and producers and camera crew and costume designers… I wonder if they’ll accept my appreciation as pay? They’d be working for a noble cause! And I’ll give them a bit of food as a bonus. You know anyone?

MAMA, LOOK!!!!! 👀 These last 24 hours have been completely overwhelming with all the comments, messages, and emails (some of them containing opportunities I would’ve begged for a few months ago.) All this from one post. It’s so funny that I’d been praying for something like this to happen for the last two years (especially earlier this year, when I was down bad and under tremendous stress). But it decides to happen NOW, right after starting the best full-time position I’ve ever had. 🤣🤣 Like, maaaaaan, this would’ve been a lifesaver 5-6 months ago! God is funny sometimes. It almost feels like my storehouse is overflowing for real! But I 100% need to log off for like a day to process all of this. 😅 All this dopamine CANNOT be good for my brain, and I have an hour-long edit to finish for my ACTUAL job. (Also, hello to all the new faces!!!)

Nearly 2 in 3 B2B buyers say social video helps shape their buying decisions (per LinkedIn Institute). But most business YouTube channels still lean way too heavily on 1 type of content. Usually: → Tutorials → Tutorials → More tutorials → Maybe a case study once in a while And then they wonder why the channel gets views but doesn’t do much else. A YouTube channel should be doing 4 different jobs: → Reach: bring new people in → Relevance: attract the right people → Trust: give them a reason to believe you → Action: move them closer to working with you Every video doesn’t need to do all 4. But your channel should. So I made a simple Content Gap Map. Put your existing videos into the 4 boxes. Whichever one looks empty is probably where your next videos should go.

god. damn.
If your AI characters sound fake, the fix is almost always in how you write and DIRECT the dialogue in your prompt. I recently started on the dialogue-heavy scenes for my AI feature film about Beethoven, and too many of the lines kept coming out wrong. They’d sound too theatrical, too monotone, or too much like a practice read-through between actors. (all this despite the fact that Seedance 2.5 is fantastic when it comes to realism.) So through a whole lot of trial and error, I've found that these 5 things made the biggest impact on the quality of the dialogue delivery in my generations: 1. Paying close attention to the written punctuation used. 2. Breaking long lines into shorter ones, with intentional pauses. 3. Using bodily actions as punctuation (this one gave the biggest improvement BY FAR! In the attached clip, note the sniffles in between Beethoven's lines. That alone made the delivery feel much more natural.) 4. Using "anchor gestures" (he lifts his finger as if to say "one sec") 5. Just split your generations in two (stupid simple, but it really makes a difference.) So if your characters keep sounding like they're reading from a teleprompter, give this a try!

These 5 tips are just the preview. The full breakdown is already up inside @DecimaVault, the AI focused community @decimablack, ΔMΞN, and I just launched. And tomorrow I'm dropping the full hour-long lesson: how I get the best performances out of my AI characters, with my iterative process shown in real time. Plus every step of this Beethoven film, documented as I go. Get in before it drops: skool.com/decima-vault-7793/…

~60% of your leads already make the decision to buy from you before ever hopping on a sales call. Meaning your prospect may have already: → Looked at competitors → Researched the problem → Started forming a shortlist → Compared different solutions → Decided who they trust you (yeah, all these before you even know they exist) This is why I think business owners should stop looking at YouTube as just a place to “get views.” Your channel can do A LOT of the work that normally happens on a sales call. A potential buyer should be able to watch your videos and understand: → What problem you solve → How you think about it → What your process looks like → Whether you have real proof → What makes your approach different → Whether you're someone they would trust to work with Long story short: Your YouTube channel is part of the sales process long before the sales call happens.
