We’re considering a change to how games launch on Cartridge: game first, token second.
Until now, creators launched a token first, then our agents built the game. We designed that flow around speed.
Our agents have improved, and we can now aim for richer games with more detailed worlds, characters and gameplay. Those builds need more time and resources—sometimes several hours.
The flow we’re considering:
→ Create your game.
→ Let the agents build and refine it.
→ Launch the token once the game is ready to play.
Players would get a playable game from day one, and creators could review what they’re launching.
These builds would carry an upfront creation fee to cover part of the additional cost and discourage spam. Cartridge would continue subsidizing part of that cost through fees from the main solana:ArenDYANqFNkp8ZqAXt69vT5Dz7WD4zDfSpVw6oPpump token, helping keep creation affordable.
This is a proposal, and we want your feedback.
