Kinetiq is going to be launching Elysium at a great time, now that Robinhood Chain is finding a new floor and Papertrade just demonstrated that Hyperliquid community still has motion and wants to play new games. This is definitely an experiment worth trying.

Been tweeting about Elysium a lot. Truly think it’s the most exciting opportunity in crypto for Q4 great catalyst for an options protocol that deploys day one as well, right place right time. There will be ton of HYPE capital eager to try things out :)

Jeff: options haven't hit escape velocity in crypto yet. They clearly have in TradFi. That gap is the opportunity. Every option on Hypercall lands as hedge flow on HL books. More options, more flow, deeper books, tighter quotes. On Hypercall. On Hyperliquid.

yep agreed, market totally reads this wrong. Partially because of redacted headlines that are plain incorrect. I added more DRV today as well there are some cool payoff structures you can make with HIP 4 (binaries obv, capped straddles, spreads etc) and it will help hedge delta/ positions on HL but naked options and atomic multi-leg settlements aren’t feasible rn We need some type of infra upgrade to make direct competition with Derive and Paradex more viable. Can see that be HIP-5 / an infra upgrade. Hypercall is also interesting here; with their infra, it's already possible to tap into HL’s OB via core writer. So a workaround is possible, it’s just pretty annoying. And the downside of Hypercall’s integration is that the options markets aren’t directly deployed on HL, so they won’t be tradable through HL’s frontend (meaning cant get this distro) until either infra changes or HL decides to integrate them Overall is this bullish for all projects currently competing in onchain options because it puts options trading at the forefront of HL traders' minds, and these products are the only way to trade vanilla options for now

I normally don't respond to this kind of stuff but this is incredibly off-base. Without SP500 the ratio is 59x ($20.6M / $349k). Derive's September ratio is 49x ($3.82B / $77.7M) Why leave out SP500 Options? You're comparing one of the lowest vol risk assets in the world to BTC/ETH and Hype at the start of a bull market when vol is crazy. Even if flow composition was *identical* VIX is at 16 and BVIV is at 37 But this understates things for a few reasons: Flow Composition: For crypto assets most options trading is structural vol selling for yield. For RWAs its the opposite, most volume comes from shorter dated options. What's important to understand is because of the square-root-of-time rule, the effect of volatility on premium/notional on shorter dated options is compounded Let's use a fixed 16% (SPX) and 37% (BTC) vol to show the affect on premium/notional under the rule: 30 days: SP500 - 55x BTC - 24x. 7 days: SP500 - 113x BTC - 50x 1 day: SP500 - 300x BTC - 133x 4 hours: SP500 - 730× BTC - ~325× So, given these numbers, why are both Hypercalls and Derives premium/notional so high? Spreads. This counts spreads/multileg premium each way on both. Spreads (on a % of trades basis) are actually less common on Hypercall so this drags the number down. Finally - I want to address "cheap metric pumping activity" These aren't "crazy OTM options". Some hit and some don't. If you look at Hypercall we don't even offer crazy low delta options (although this is something we're working on) so these are fairly likely to hit and they do Good example is the spread trader we wrote about here: insights.hypercall.xyz/sp500… He lost $6.4k on a 0dte spread, then $13.5k on a 0dte spread, then made $53.6k. He thought the vol was underpriced so he traded it. If you think he's wrong you're able to sell him the vol yourself. I'll personally onboard you. The last thing I want to address is "cheap metric pumping activity". This is true on other options exchanges. But we don't have our own perps. Every single one of these options is hedged on Hyperliquid. In September alone (just for SP500) that meant: $204.6M of Volume on the SP500 perp $16,869 in Fees $40.7k total cost of execution (including slip from mid) Why? Well- like we said: Variance is higher on shorter dated options so hedging costs is also higher We broke down the costs of one of these trades, fill by fill, here: insights.hypercall.xyz/sp500… Hypercall is early. I've tried to be honest about where we're strong and where we're weak. But this comparison is just bad.

Spot ethereum:0x0f2d719407fdbeff09d87557abb7232601fd9f29 listing on Hyperliquid looks live! Hypercall and hyperliquid:native have a lot of synergies given all hedging flow from Hypercall options takes place on Hyperliquid! $2B market cap is wrong right now but it may be predicting the future lol
ethereum:0x0f2d719407fdbeff09d87557abb7232601fd9f29 number 2 in 7 day on-chain options volume, liquidity scaling to facilitate more trades. Hypercall hedging wallet reached 15%!!! Of hyperliquid:native's S&P500 perp by @tradexyz - if Hypercall wins Hyperliquid wins even more since all options hedging flow goes through their perps. Up!

hooollly this is big ngl onchain options is already gaining massive traction but this prop kicks off a new chapter for @SynapseProtocol. usage pumps directly into $SYN: buybacks + staker rewards, deeper SLP liquidity + lower fees. things are heating up. hypercall.
I'm bullish on the on-chain options space as a whole. Options have massive product market fit on the retail side, as evidenced by it being Robinhood's biggest trading revenue line, and on the institutional side based on how much global volume they do. It's also the biggest tradfi market that hasn't really seen material growth on-chain. In crypto, perps have dominated because they're simple to understand and it's easy to build up liquidity on a trading pair. But perps are path dependent. You can be right about where something ends up and still get liquidated on the way there. Oct 10 was a good example of that, and I think it's made people a lot more interested in options, where you know your max loss going in. On-chain options have been attempted before, but the models were subpar. We're now seeing teams build models that mirror centralized designs, which lets market makers provide liquidity on par with or better than Deribit. On-chain options also now benefit from perps liquidity, which makes it possible to offer RWA markets in a way that wasn't possible before. This is one of the reasons I particularly like $SYN. Aside from being incredibly bullish on its founder @trajan0x, I think the product itself is very compelling. Hypercall is built on top of Hyperliquid, so market makers can hedge there and use those same positions as margin. That means Hypercall can list options on anything with a Hyperliquid perp, whether that's majors, alts or the tokenized equities on TradeXYZ. You can already trade same-day and daily SpaceX options there, which you can't do on a traditional exchange, and the same will be true for pre-IPO names once Hyperliquid lists them. Anyone with a wallet can use it, it's USDC margined and it trades 24/7. I think the token side of things is also very compelling. • No equity entity, so all cash flows are governed by SYN • No VCs and no unlocks, with 88% of supply circulating • Builder codes for frontend revenue share With the governance structure in mind, I'm including a proposal below to kick off value accrual for the token. It has three parts. 1) 70% of protocol fees go toward buying SYN on the open market on Hyperliquid. The SYN that gets bought is distributed to SYN stakers. 2) 30% of fees go to SLP, the USDC vault that provides market making liquidity on Hypercall. Rewards are time weighted so people can't deposit right before a distribution and farm it. 3) Traders who stake SYN get fee discounts from 5% up to 40%, similar to how Hyperliquid does its staking tiers. There's a 24 hour activation period and a 7 day unstaking cooldown. The SYN thresholds for each tier still need to be ratified by the DAO. The split applies to fees actually collected, after discounts and builder/referral shares, and there are no new emissions. The proposal is pending a DAO vote. snapshot.org/#/s:synapse-gov…

Agents are already beginning to power the digital economy. I expect this trend to 1000x from today. But agents require privacy to operate at scale. Z is the infrastructure that makes it possible. Stay tuned.

Watch @richrines lay out exactly why Z is the answer to scaling private money in the AI era. – Agents are about to run businesses, manage money, and hold credentials at scale. – Every action they take leaks information if the rails don’t protect it. – Z is the execution layer where agents can transact, coordinate, and hold state without exposing everything they do.

The man who spent years whining that the government illegally spied on his campaign is now demanding Congress let him spy on every American—without a warrant. FISA 702 is the real threat to Americans’ privacy: warrantless surveillance of U.S. persons under the guise of targeting foreigners. Far bigger than the Title I abuse Trump complains about. Stop electing hypocrites who trash the Constitution. Tell Congress: Vote NO on FISA 702.

You’re not losing your mind, @TheoVon. You’re having a perfectly normal reaction to a world that’s gone mad, and shame on Joe for suggesting otherwise. Whether it’s the insanity of the COVID pandemic; the endless government corruption and cover-ups (Epstein, Charlie Kirk, Vegas Shooting, 9/11, etc.); the completely fake media apparatus; the non-stop stream of sinful habits being promoted on social media, television and movies (substance abuse, gambling, pornography, the destruction of the nuclear family); or the rest of the world witnessing demonstrably evil actions in places like Gaza (to name a few). None of this is normal. None of this is healthy. None of this rational. Noticing and rejecting it doesn’t mean you’re crazy. It means you’re an actual human. There’s also only so much within our control, so it’s important not to get overwhelmed by information overload either. Humans weren’t meant to be bombarded with negativity and every tragedy happening throughout the world 24/7/365. Most of us would benefit from unplugging a bit and focusing more on our families (or building a larger ones), our friends, our passions, our hobbies, our faith, our health and creating a better world starting with what’s in our immediate control. Keep speaking your mind and bringing attention to the evil that exists, but don’t let those who want to demoralize us succeed in doing so. If you’re going to consume content, make sure some of it is positive, too (there is an unlimited amount of good happening in the world every day). Your influence, humor, honesty and love for humanity will continue moving the world toward a better place as more people wake up to the current reality of the world we’re living in. There are millions and/or billions of people all around the world who feel the same way, and more who are waking up every day.
Joe Rogan tells Theo Von to his face he’s “losing his f*cking marbles” during the latest episode of the podcast. Rogan then urged him to get off antidepressants after Von went on a bizarre rant. VON: “It’s all just a cat and mouse game.” “People are like, ‘we’ll elect the Democrats next time.’ But it’s all...the same sh*t has been happening forever.” “They haven’t been helping anybody forever.” “They’re letting f*cking politicians slurp on kids!” “All of our f*cking money goes to Israel and they’re using it to f*cking genocide people!” “It’s like, everybody is scared out of their wits right now. It’s like, our religious leaders are afraid to speak out.” “It’s like...the...it’s a time where it’s like...satan is amongst us and our religious leaders are talking about bullsh*t at the polls!” “It’s just like, what is going...I don’t know man.” ROGAN: “We gotta get you off those antidepressants, son.” “You’re losing your f*cking marbles!” VON: “You think I am?” ROGAN: “Come hang out with us. Just chill out!”
