When I read about AI investment it feels like we're in a bubble, but when I use AI it feels like there's no way we're in a fucking bubble. This shit is magic.

basecamp notes
@qaulv just returned from an insane week in stowe, vermont for @base camp, where he repped fxhash and connected with other base builders
we have plenty of exciting developments to share from the week & spent valuable 1:1 time with the base team
takeaways
/ network /
met with dedicated base builders and investors, talked art coins + the bright future of digital art, and about the visionary infrastructure fxhash is building for onchain art.
we're very happy to have met very aligned parties who believe in what we're building and came away with fresh ideas, friendships, and great connections.

/ new auction mechanics /
the @base advantage is massive. literally the fastest, cheapest, and best UX of any chain out there. it's so good that we're confident in moving forward with introducing new auction mechanics like ranked auctions with rebates.
because of base's technical advantages, bidding wars will feel seamless, instant, and will cost almost nothing in tx fees.
/ it's all about creator economies /
@base is all in on creator economies like the ones we're enabling with art coins here at fxhash.
creator economies aren't just a feature or temporary narrative for base: it's their core thesis. art coins and coining digital art at large aren't experimental anymore; they're THE primitive for how creators capture value onchain.
every artist as their own economy - this is where we're going!
/ bringing value to $fxh /
value accrual to $fxh is top of mind, especially coming out of basecamp where one of the key themes that resonated with us is that participation should always be rewarded.
soon, we're rolling out a phase of $fxh utilities:
- $fxh staking
- primary + secondary bidding with $fxh
- purchase tezos grails with $fxh
we're also excited that using fxhash ties our community into possible rewards being explored in the form of a $base network token.
there's no final word on this yet, but it doesn't hurt to position yourself early and be active on based platforms like fxhash.
art is for everyone -> that's why we build. now let's accelerate 🚀

Introducing… Raster!
A new digital art marketplace from @0xmetaclass and @thefunnyguysNFT.
We’re making art collecting delightful by solving digital art's biggest headache: fragmentation.

I do not agree.
Objkt team built it, not the community. The community is using it simply because it is the most advanced, flawless and open to diversity platform of the whole NFT space. It allowed so many of us to grow as artists and to monetize our work in a fair way.
This letter is not a conversation, it is a public confrontation that fails to understand that @objktcom is a business, and that they already are tight on resources and time. You can use Teia if you are looking for a community driven platform. Or build your own.
And personal relationships are what this world is built on, if you think that making beautiful art and not building meaningful relationships can take you anywhere think again, the people you surround yourself with and you take care of are the ones who will help and support you in your journey, making nice jpegs is not enough. If you spend your time attacking and criticizing you can't be surprised if you are not included.
Let’s raise our voices for art, for the community, and for mutual respect 💜 for everything we’ve built together. Let’s start the conversation!
Open Letter to @objktcom (Part 1)
LLM feature I desperately want:
Ability to comb through your conversation and selectively delete portions of it in order to free up context window.

it's genuinely wild when you step back and look at it.
an artist drops a concept like Digitum Mens Trahit, and suddenly there's this micro-economy that emerges around it. people are trading art coins, calculating evolution costs, building depth strategies. David removes ETH fees and that decision alone reshapes how hundreds of collectors interact with the work.
@julihespenheide posts research for months about plant growth systems, drops Pheno, and within hours you have collectors studying grid parameters, sharing evolution lineages, debating which traits to preserve. the artist's design choices about evolution mechanics literally create behavioral patterns in the collector base.
it's like each project spawns its own little economic experiment. the artists aren't just making art - they're designing the rules for how value flows, how collectors engage, what gets rewarded. they're accidentally becoming economists and behavioral designers.
and @fx_hash_ becomes this laboratory where these micro-economies play out in real time.
Some projects create HODL behavior, others encourage rapid evolution, some build long-term collector relationships.
each one tests different theories about value, ownership, and interaction.
the fascinating part is how the art concept itself becomes the economic logic. the better the artistic system, the more sustainable the economy around it becomes.
it's not just about speculation anymore - it's about designing compelling reasons for people to stay engaged with the work over time.
That's genuinely unprecedented in art history.
