Did you read about the real life group of dogs who rescued themselves from kidnappers? I'm querying a lower middle grade with very similar elements!
Inside every ‘bad’ dog is a good pupper waiting to be found. #amquerying DM me if interested.

National parks have hiking trails for everyone, from “I climb mountains for breakfast” to “I just tripped on a curb.”

"If we regulate politicians more, it'll be harder for them to serve special interests and insiders, and it'll be easier to have public servants run and win who actually just want to do work."
Iowa Gov.-elect Rob Sand (D) calls for regulating the political revolving door.
Annuals that are still going strong in the garden this November 5th. Blue Flossflower (ageratum) and red Lantana. I need to find the tag for the lantana to remember the specific variety. I cut them both back around the first of July when we were going to be gone for 3 weeks and unable to water them. I think that helped. #gardening

Pope Leo and Bob Dylan look like they're starring in an early '90s CBS drama in which two priests - one by the book and one who does things his own way - try to solve mysteries in their seemingly sleepy Midwestern town that hides a seedy underbelly.

We've been hearing multiple reports that there is a 'd' in 'handkerchief.'

Atlanta friends dressed as Waymo self-driving cars for Halloween, and even the cops stopped to watch. One of them got stuck in a hedge. Obviously.
Two different emails/texts from editors at “Chronicle.” I responded to each asking if they knew each other. :)
The trickiest part of working full-time with children in school is managing childcare for all the MANY days they have off for things like teacher-in-service days and regular vacation days, and who is going to care for them when they are ill. Children get sick more than you'd expect. and illnesses seem to spring up in the middle of the night so you only have a short time to plan.
One of my husband’s more unusual talents is building stone pathways. This one has had the moss fill in beautifully.

Sir, this is a national park, not a portal to the underworld.

I'm very very sad tonight. I just learned that Stephen Biesty passed away in 2024 at 63... He is one of my favorite artist. Rest in peace.
