My brain has refused to tell me where I kept these glasses ATP, I might just have to accept that they are lost 😞

This sounds great, as long as the passive “raising men” here is not laid at the feet of women Hold men accountable for their actions - that’s the only root Until then, women should arm themselves with whatever they need to navigate life, including their own money
Replying to @qaozy
It is raising men with empathy Families functioning like they should when issues arise Dealing with ourselves with the fear of Allah Of course, I am not against a woman making her own money but it shouldn't be in anticipation of a man treating her terribly.

i need muslim women to stop this rubbish infantilisation of themselves under the guise of haya. you’re an adult, stop feigning naïveté, there’s a lot of resources at your fingertips. educate yourself. you have to learn to navigate the world we live in.

This has got to be engagement farming
Recently I’ve seen a lot of people complaining about being asked to clean an Airbnb when they’ve already paid a cleaning fee As a host, I find this attitude quite worrying My wife and I rent out the apartment in Germany. We charge a €145 cleaning fee, and we still expect guests to: 1. Strip the beds and start a wash, separating whites from colours 2. Wash, dry and put away all dishes 3. Sweep and mop the floors 4. Take out all rubbish, separating paper, cardboard, clear glass, coloured glass, plastics, metal, organic waste and residual waste 5. Take bottles with a deposit to the supermarket return machine. 6. Send photos showing the apartment is ready before the 8:30am checkout These tasks must be completed before departure. If you have an early flight, allow time the evening before The cleaning fee pays for professional cleaning. It does not pay for someone to pick up after you Here in Europe, we teach children to leave a place as they found it I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect the same from adults on holiday

And surrounding yourself/ talking with older women who currently live the life you aspire to This has never happened before, is a scare-mongering tactic Open your mouth and talk to women!!!
Having money is not the only way to empower yourself as a woman. Have principles and beliefs you standby. Be disciplined. Be a talk and do woman. You can be struggling and still stand your ground ASF. Be wise.

Me, whenever anyone tells me to start a substack (in my head only though, cos saying what I REALLY think didn’t go too well in the jungle of my Nigerian boarding school):
my only issue is people aren’t reading enough to be writing all these substacks.

In Islam, everyone - women AND men- are expected to remove pubic and armpit hair at least once in 40 days Let us tell this story properly, plis
In Islam, women are instructed to remove pubic hair within 40 days.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The hadith on removing pubic and armpit hair no more than every 40 days (maximum) applies to both Muslim men and women as part of fitrah hygiene practices. sunnah.com/muslim:258 seekersguidance.org/answers/hanafi… islamqa.info/en/answers/394…

Atlantic was accusing an African writer for using AI last week. I just knew they were projecting. Every accusation is a confession.
