“Playing villainous characters is nothing new to me 😈
But the Snow Queen is about more than just evil. She is cold, proud, powerful, and untouchable. She doesn't show her feelings, keeps everyone at a distance, and is used to having everything happen on her terms.
She doesn't need to shout or get angry. One look from her is enough to send a chill down your spine. Let's see if I can bring this character to life on the ice.
The show's producer, Yana Alexandrovna, suggested an idea to me from the “impossible is possible” category. I'll give it a try! I really hope this story works out for me, too.
And by the way, I already love the dress! I think it'll make it easier to get into character.
Tickets are already on sale. See you there! 🤍❄️”

📝| Alexandra Trusova — On Parents, Support, and the Decision to Cut Ties with Her Father.
“I’m grateful to my parents—both my dad and my mom—for making me who I am. For my career, for everything, for the chance to have everything I have right now. But when it came to shaping me into a professional athlete, it was my mom who did everything. My dad provided the financial means. He earned money, which allowed us to move from Ryazan to Moscow and pay for everything. He was the one who did all that.
As for my father, I haven’t spoken to him for two years now, and I believe that a lot of what he started doing later had a negative impact on my career. On the contrary, he undermined my self-confidence. What he did afterward with my brothers, and so on. A great deal of what he said and did actually made me less confident in myself—as a person, as a figure skater, and so on.
With the passage of time, I realize that none of that is true, and I’m living a wonderful life. But I no longer have any contact with him, nor do I want to, and I never will. I have my mom, my brothers, my grandparents, my husband, and my son.”
—He’ll probably see this interview, hear these words, and maybe want to get in touch with you, talk to you, or perhaps apologize. Would you accept that apology?
“He’ll never do that. I know him very well. He’ll never apologize.”
