Chloé Zhao has transcended reality with HAMNET. You are transported on a gut wrenching journey of love, anger and grief. Buckley unearths a raw, otherworldly performance as Agnes that is a career high! This will sit with you, as Shakespeare’s work, for lifetimes to come. #TIFF50

Ruaridh Mollica says his favorite 'VISIONQUEST' meme is the “If Wanda was wanting to find her sons so much, why didn't she just look on Grindr?” one 😆

Too many movies coming out on the same weekend. Spread them out! They don't all have to come out in October.

Shouldn't expect much from the individual behind @HollywoodHandle but ripping our video to reupload without any credit is pretty shitty standards.

#Wildwood can only be described as beautiful. In animation. In score. In story. In voices. In ambition. Beautiful. A pitch perfect, if slightly darker than expected, epic. The best animation of the year and possibly decade. Engrave the award now.

The #LFF is technically over but I’m seeing 2 of my most anticipated titles this week. Very excited for both.
Maybe a hot take, but the Academy needs to expand the International Lineup to include 10 films. Like BP, there’s an abundance of riches around the world that’s sadly overlooked because they lack a savvy distributor or are an unknown by entity. The Academy Awards is a global event

Hamaguchi makes the “impossible possible” in ALL OF A SUDDEN, a gentle yet hard-hitting exposé on what it means to leave your mark on the world. 3-hour runtime breezes by thanks to Efira and Okamoto beautifully carrying the heart of the film. Will sit with me for a while. #LFF

THE DEBUT genuinely is one of the greatest movies. Brilliant script and direction; the performances are out of this world — Moore and Paul Giamatti both give a masterclass in acting. We laughed, we cheered, we clapped, and I just had the best time tonight. What a way to end #LFF! Long live movies and community theatre 🎭💘
Amazing how times are a-changin’ at Netflix. First film they’ve reported box office numbers; not a bad start, and hopefully their expansion plans doesn’t undercut it, as more awards title enter the landscape in the next month. If you can, definitely see LA BOLA NEGRA in a theater

Netflix's 'La Bola Negra' opened to a massive $69,375 per-screen-average across four theaters in LA and NY, the second-highest PSA ever for a non-English language film (after 'Parasite').
The film expands to more cities and regions in the coming weeks.

Firstman pulls off the incredible in CLUB KID. A messy yet genuine tale of family and self-worth. The kinetic house music surges through the film, livening up both the tender and extravagant moments. Absolom is an absolute star. Innit babes x #LFF

I PLAY ROCKY works best when exploring Stallone’s struggle and creation of the acclaimed film but loses itself in reenacting scenes from it. I’d much rather be watching ROCKY. Despite this, Ippolito was marvellous. Just struggling to understand the point #LFF

Mike Leigh’s final film TENDER LOVING CARE is a gorgeous introspective musing on social care and aging. Everyone is treated with empathy and love despite their situation. Does not need to be flashy to pack a punch. Didn’t always work but when it did, there was not a dry eye. #LFF
