Florence Motor Speedway Officials have announced on their Facebook Page that they will not schedule racing events in 2027. The final events tentatively will be Monster Trucks and the South Carolina 250 and 400 in November. The track cites increasingly difficult struggles each year since 2020 and wanting a sense of normalcy with everyday struggles that life throws.

Annabeth Crum shares her thoughts after her husband Jake took home a SMART Modified Tour championship. This time next weekend, it could be a family sweep as she has a Carolina Crate Modified title to go after at Orange County.

Danny Bohn reflects on the season that was and coming up just short of a SMART Modified Tour championship. He’s coming back in 2027 to get one more spot.

Sean McElearney picked up a fourth place finish in the SMART Modified Tour race at North Wilkesboro. The car was in bad shape after last weekends crash at Tri County but his Shady Grady Racing team put the work in this week and was rewarded with a top five.

The red flag is lifted at Wilkesboro. Unofficially as it stands now with Crum in second, Newman in fourth and Bohn in fifth, it’s a three way tie for the championship. Bohn with his three wins would win the tiebreaker.
