smartphones have existed for about 19 years now. LLMs have existed for about 6. have we broken through the theoretical great filter yet? don't think so, but time between each technological shift is decreasing drastically.

this is how I develop in 2026. generate the code i want, change the stuff i don't like, work on features in parallel using worktrees, and commit only when the shape is right. love that we can just build personalized software that no one will ever use but yourself.
