One thing you will never catch me saying is ‘this is why I hate female friendships’. No kind of friendship or relationship is perfect. Betrayal isn’t specific to a particular gender. I’ve been hurt by women before but it’d be quite silly of me to use that as a reason to stay away from women generally. There comes a time when you grow out of that weird phase of thinking you’re one of the boys bc you genuinely aren’t and will never be. I have great friendships with my male friends but that comes no where close to the friendships I have with my girls.
