I'm a center Dem who doesn't want the status quo.
I want money out of politics.
I want money in my pocket.
I want affordable healthcare.
(I don't expect the government to solve healthcare, I expect them to regulate it, invest in it, and stop cutting safety nets so that good quality healthcare is accessible and affordable for all.)
And I want Accountability.
The Constitutional loopholes abused by this administration need to be closed. This level of corruption and deconstruction of our institutions should never be allowed to happen again.
Most importantly, I want PERMANENT protections on our protected lands and endangered species, so that we don't revert every four years, and fall victim to Big Oil and corporate greed.
We should demand these things.
It's our tax dollars.

It's the perfect time for unvarnished clarity, honesty: Neither Jeffries nor Schumer have represented the Dem Party well or effectively. We have a new mandate & need Leaders who are uncompromised,who HEAR US & can fully carry it out. These 2??--NOT the ones for the enormous job.
The Democrats who won the hardest states, like Andrews in SC and Colom in MS, don't want to vote for Schumer because they ran against the DC establishment. Schumer and Jeffries represent that establishment.
To keep this majority, we need to not make sure they don't take such an unpopular vote as their first act. We need someone other than Schumer and Jeffries for leader.

I used to be a supporter of his but just feel he’s same old same old. He didn’t endorse Mamdani. He didn’t speak out in support of El Sayed.
Never Forget that BAFFLING MOMENT IN April 2024, Congress had an opportunity to strengthen Americans’ privacy protections by requiring warrants for certain searches of their communications collected through federal surveillance. The amendment failed in a 212 to 212 tie. Jeffries voted AGAINST it. Had he voted yes it would have passed.
Think about that. The Democratic leader had an opportunity to protect a fundamental civil liberty and chose otherwise. 🤷♀️
So before the media starts celebrating the historic possibility of our first Black House Speaker, I’d like to know exactly what kind of leadership we’re celebrating?
