I'm excited to announce that my first app, Credits, is now available for beta testing!
Credits is the best way to look up information about movies, TV shows, cast, and crew. It's fast, respects your time, and doesn't collect any of your data.

I don’t understand why anybody would choose SwiftUI over UIKit when agents can write UIKit code for you.
I compared UIKit and SwiftUI performance with the most ridiculous scroll view possible.
Memory usage wasn’t dramatic, but was interestingly spiky. Perhaps due to the different numbers of gifs and different resolution of the images rendered on each cell.
When it came to profiling peak memory and energy usage, I expected UIKit to yield the same kind of results I saw in SwiftUI: We’re still displaying an enormous number of elements, animating them the same, and these images are not any bigger or smaller, right?
Now don’t I look silly.
Memory usage hovered around 92MB for UIKit, compared to 248MB in SwiftUI.

The ultimate programming language would strike the right balance between Go's simplicity, Swift's expressivity, and Rust's speed and safety. Sadly, no such language exists yet.
SwiftUI’s biggest selling point has been developer productivity. Now that code is written by agents instead of humans, I strongly believe UIKit is the best way to build native iOS apps.
The Mac Studio when it finds out you bought it just to use an AI subscription instead of running models locally
If the reports of Apple expressing interest in buying Manchester United are true, I look forward to seeing what the acquisition means for Ted Lasso.
Some of the engineers at Twitter still had access to their work accounts and suspended @eIonmusk in retaliation 😳
I’ve created two custom widgets on the left and right. The left widget shows my cellular data usage and the one on the right shows how much of my phone’s storage I’ve used up so far.
Who remembers this small dip in Apple’s share price back in 2018? Everybody freaked out and said Apple is doomed. All of this was because Apple announced they were no longer going to specify the number of units sold for the iPhone.
