I must say Golden Hours is her best album after Covers 2. It sounds fresh and well thought of. The recording is pristine, theres a variety in arrangements. It features a lot of her vocal colors and techniques compacted in 1 album. So proud of you @reginevalcasid ✨ #GoldenHours

I hope somebody compiles evidences about this. Kumbaga she lead a new movement at ginawang art form ang belting among filipino singers. I don't think it's just popularizing the technique kasi ang dami niya ring ginawang innovation sa records niya.

Looking back, pre-Regine’s Bagong Kampeon win, parang ang mga piyesa ng babae sa singing contest noon eh mga Whitney Houston. Pops recently mentioned Tillie Moreno and Louie Reyes as existing “biriteras” that time pero wala namang kumakanta ng piyesa nila sa mga singing contest.

With those records, napalawig niya yung technique and inspired others to make their own version of belting. Just look at every singing competition here in the Philippines up to present day, I'm sure lahat ng ginagawa nilang techniques may influences ni Regine.
