Replying to @micro1_ai
@micro1_ai just put a price on your company's paperwork, with a $1B plan to buy it. @mercor is packaging its data into research products.
The broker layer of AI training data is growing up fast. I wrote about where it's headed:

Using personal agents has been a great experience, particularly with Grok Bot and Muse.
With Instinct and Muse, as much as people talk about the payment processing as their revenue stream, I've been thinking a lot about the impact on the data they're collecting.
New Trove!

LinkedIn product team prompt:
“Claude, ship a new algorithm, but make it absolute trash and make no sense to the user why they’re seeing the content they’re seeing. Make no mistakes.”
Late to the party but finally got on a United flight with Starlink. Absolutely bonkers how good it is
Shipped some major improvements to Savant this morning. Portco's we acquire will have the below features built directly in to the desktop app:
- CRM
- Personal agent tied to your business function
- Call recording
- Mac/windows dictation
- Calendar/Scheduling link
Information latency is extremely important working with agents and we're building Savant as our company's all in one operating system

Trying to use the models for things outside of coding / ml, like making slides or coherent plans or longish content design, makes me feel the AGI-is-going-to-take-a-while.
Meta's back in the open weights game! Huge for open source community. Meta's on fire lately
Muse Spark Open -- weights releasing today -- runs great on new Mac Studios thanks to work with @johnternus and Apple.
A few hundred expert tasks can move an open model on real work. Mercor post-trained NVIDIA's Nemotron 3.5 Super for legal (with Harvey), software (with Cognition) and accounting (with Ramp). On held-out tests: legal +6.7, SWE Pass@1 +8.2, accounting +7.3. That's what labs are buying from data vendors now. mercor.com/blog/mercor-nvidi…
Great point by Dan, I think we need to seriously rethink digital media as a whole in industry. Three things I’m noodling on:
- Main st ai adoption is a lot more behind than you think, ask your non tech cousin how theyre using ai. We have years before the mass shift
- is the online article back? A newsletter legible by agents that points readers to an online article may become an effective way to drive traffic. The art of the tease!
- Events, events, events. We built our business around this bet, but as online continues to shift fully to an agent ecosystem, humans building a relationship and transacting in person is going to grow exponentially
a big take I've been noodling on and I’m ready to call:
the newsletter is dead
@every's core business is a newsletter with 120k+ subscribers so I don't say this lightly.
persistent agents mean i dont look at my inbox
with dots (GrokBots, Muse, etc) I almost never look at my inbox. if I do it's for a specific thing I need to reply to.
i think in a year I'll be doing all of my email this way - fully filtered by my dot / something like it.
this is not new: it's a continuation of the trend of having a “newsletter” folder in Gmail, but 10x more filtered.
what it means
It doesn’t mean people won't read newsletters, but it does mean that getting a person’s email is no longer the guarantee that you have a relationship with them that it used to.
luckily, with persistent agents (and AI coding more generally) there is an entirely new playing field to build relationships with readers. instead of fighting to get an email address, publishers and creators will need to make sure we're installed in our reader's agent harness of choice, so that they get directly notified when we do something new.
we're already starting to experiment with this @every with our MCP and the frontier alerts we send users of our slack agent (every.to/agent)
it's also more affordable than ever for publishers and creators to build their own platform ecosystem: you can have your own website, app etc. and you can use AI to publish 100x more high-quality stuff to your community—so we may see a world where many creators themselves are running their own little empires that have their own apps, feeds etc.
to be clear: It'll take a while before this actually happens, but the idea of getting someone's email creating a direct relationship with them is over.
here's a set of predictions I made 3 years ago about AI and media that panned out pretty well: every.to/chain-of-thought/we…

Ben is a wonderful guy
He’s in the midst of a very hard time
If you can help him in any way, please do
Ramp, Deel, and AppLovin all gave 100k just now
The $ will help him pay for life extending medicine and help his family

Ben Wilson (@BenWilsonTweets) has stage 4 cancer and 4 kids under the age of 5.
I want to help him as much as possible, so I invited him on the podcast to talk about his work studying history’s greatest leaders and what it’s like getting told he’s going to die at 38.
He’s a good guy, a close friend, and one of my favorite podcasters.
His work has benefited millions of people all across the world.
Please watch this episode and see if you can help with medicine, introductions, or donations.

totally agree with @jasonlk here, which is why it's hard to take the "AGI is here" convo seriously.
I can teach a high school kid off the street how to send a cold email to a prospect in 2 weeks. Why do I still need to check my agent's work after using it for over a year?
Flying to SF watching someone two rows in front of me working with Claude prepping to launch a slop cannon at his team
