In the earlier hours of this morning, A 9 year old was rushed in and the mother was directed to the pharmacy to purchase some needed things. I gave her the bill and she went back to the father to get the money. The next thing we heard was the man screaming “I can’t be doing this every month, if the child wants to d!e, let him d!e so I can finally rest!” I don’t judge him, because it was just a moment of emotional outburst, but it made me sit and think with myself- if my child had been born disabled, would I have gone home from the hospital with that child?

There’s this family I know with six daughters, and none of them are married. The surprising part is that the girls are beautiful, dress well, carry themselves properly, and are doing well for themselves. So I’m genuinely curious: is it that men don’t notice them, or what exactly is the issue?
