Took a picture of all the new game releases I bought this month
Wayyyyy too many games are releasing this month 😭
The Xbox Disc to Digital program rolled out today so I grabbed every game on my shelf that had been delisted digitally, and these are the ones that worked:
Looks like FC 27 requires a download on ALL platforms this year, including PS5.
Both PS5 and PS4 only include Classic Matches with about 10 teams on disc, everything else requires a download.
🧵
The most insulting thing about this is that the patch size (at least on PS4) is pretty small, meaning most of the data is already on the disc, they’re just arbitrarily locking away most of the content.
Here’s a video from @RetroGameFutur1 showing off the PS5 disc build (I checked the PS4 version myself): youtu.be/VL7b0iBKCjw?is=lwL9…
Unfortunately, while Stage Tour is including a disc on PS5, the game will still require a download according to their website and the box art
Just wanted to give huge props to the newly released WWI game Gallipoli for including full offline bot support and offline progression, when most multiplayer games released nowadays are completely online only.
Makes you wonder why Battlefield can't do it when an indie team can.

Sony also revoked access to ALL PlayStation Mobile games when they stopped supporting it in 2015, even if you had previously purchased them.
There used to be an entire separate “Mobile” tab in your previous purchases on the Vita that is completely gone now
