It's not even just the credit part, it's the constant minimization and belittling of our group and culture from people who love to partake in it to a high degree. Like why are we getting talked down on by people with our icons in their pfp, while they speak in botched Ebonics.
I’m not black American but black Americans do have a point when they say that the diaspora and the world at large find it unnecessarily difficult to just give them their flowers for their own creations that you partake in constantly.

Because they want us dead, been saying it. Once self loathing becomes your default setting, you will see how many folks become death bringers & wishers.

The “We can’t be saved 🥺” pushers lowkey want it to be true more than it is actually factual.

I want more Black Americans to get COMPETITIVE about keeping Grandma's house. Pool your money. Split the property taxes. Get multiple ppl in the fam into skilled trades so repairs aren't always a fortune. Don't surrender generations of sacrifice without one hell of a fight.

It’s 2026; every question about Black American culture and customs coming from anyone is antagonistic and disingenuous. The answer is always no even if yes is the truth.

“No culture” in general was created for dehumanization by whites. What swath of humans yk on Earth that doesn’t have customs, beliefs, ways of life, etc? It was created by racists to strip us of basic humanity, & our “cousins” believed in it & adopted it right after.

In a world that doesn’t uplift strong, motivating, black fathers…I’m shining the light on mine because I wouldn’t be who I am today without him. Being poured into on a daily, means more to me than any acknowledgment from strangers. How can I be a disappointment when this is who raised me? ❤️

Bruh they were essentially saying they need to be culled so we can progress. Very spooky to see where folks heads are at when it comes to their own on the “left”.

People forget how optimistic everyone was about tech in the 2000s and 2010s. Techbros were employing everyone left right and centre, paying great salaries right out of college, subsidizing meals and cab rides, and telling everyone they had solutions to the world's problems.
Obama era of coddling tech companies was a disaster tbh

The fact they think the Black Cultural Experience is just a bucket list of different things and not base experiences and features that interconnects us here even when we're in different parts of the country and in different environments. Nobody cares that you can't Dougie
