I'm a self custody maximalist. If Bitcoin ossifies before it achieves reasonable self custody for end users at scale, then I'll consider it a failed project. Even if price continues to go up.

The tensions between the #Fixthefilters High Guard and the Ordinal Wizards, are rising. The air is thick with the scent of war. The burden of it's completion left upon our meek shoulders. I watch from afar, torn buy the conflict. As a Jpeg enjoyer, xeetcoin minimalist, AND Bitcoin monetary larper, my heart aches and my stomach turns at sight of another crypto war. One who's wisdom I question. Even if the High Guard wins and filters out the dark magic of the Jpeg wizards, along side the shallow brutality of the ponzi hordes, how long will that last? How long will it take for the Wizards and the BRC-20 Barbarians -forced into a dark alliance - to build bridges over those filters and go straight to the mining pools? changing the flow of the time chain forever? The mempool might die a slow death, as the mining pool middlemen grow in wealth and power, fueled by the dumb money of jpegs and ponzis. Meanwhile the plebs and the masses, hungry for better money will suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fees. The thunder storms of forced channel closures hidden among the black clouds inbound iliquidity. The skies overwhelmed by full blocks of crap, pricing out their access to that coveted digital gold. Gold which promised to give them sovereignty and freedom! Now leaving them at the altar and whims of the Northern Empire's money changers. But a Champion is rising to the challenge. The town's folk buzz with rumors of a rag tag crew of OG wizards and mercenaries, joining forces to clear the skies. Their weapon of choice, LNHANCE. A new covenant over the fate of Bitcoin, which promises to bring lightning back to the hands of the plebs, while weakening the Northern Empire's grasp of the corn fields. The ancients and elders are starting to nod in approval of the of the LNHANCE alliance. Noticing it's wisdom. Will the war between the Wizards and the High Guard destroy the growing consensus? Will the skepticism towards Wizardry taint the LNHANCE Alliance? Will the enchanted Jpeg collectors support the new covenant? Will the hordes of ponzi scheming Barbarians be finally stopped? Will the Wizard's trolls enrage the plebs and High Guard into a frenzy that blinds them into scorching the earth? Will a new dawn of prosperity come to Bitcornia, or will it ossify and forever be frozen in time? Only time will tell.
