Finally breached 700 !! Thank you for your support yall
Connections are the only way to grow right now, for small accounts I feel
You get locked in to small networks, and the chance to breakout are very less
You have to keep expanding outward and meeting new people to grow with the current algorithm
For months I used to scream into the void, but now I'm happy that my posts atleast reach my mutuals TL 💪
Sharing few updates for Canvograph:
1) We got 11 installs!! No SEO, no optimization. Thank you early adopters
2) Zero SEO, gotta fix it. I'll document my whole plan from tomorrow in real time. We are gonna take an invisible site and make it visible 🔥

The biggest unlock for junior engineers: a database isn’t a black box. It’s a system with its own network, cache, and core logic.
Postgres:
Network → TCP, process-per-connection, pooling
Cache → shared_buffers, OS page cache, thrashing
Core → B-tree inserts, page splits, WAL
How is Gemini 4 Argon + Antigravity for real codebase?
Heard nasty stuff about hallucinations in codebase.
Harness also plays a key role in performance

Postgres:

#3 Core:
An INSERT isn’t just “write a row.” Postgres writes to the WAL first for durability, then updates every index on the table. And WAL? Think of it as a simple append only file. The simplest database, a mini-db inside Postgres😆
Each B-tree insert finds the right leaf page, and if it’s full, splits it.
So when a query is slow, ask the same questions you ask of any service:
Is it the network? (connections, round trips)
Is it the cache? (hit ratio, working set size)
Is it the core work? (index maintenance, page splits, bloat)
The database is just another system. Don't jump in and say "Let's add index"😂

A nice small article on writing a book. Writing a book is hard (a real book, not with AI guyss!!😂). But it builds discipline and teached "just do it attitude"

ResNet source code, simpler times when "SOTA" was a cute neural network model😂

GPT-6.1 Terra just launched. Main pitch is fast computer use at lower cost. It can see what’s on screen and take actions across apps.
Still too early for real tests, but the interesting part is the everyday stuff that used to need a human clicking around. Filling forms, moving data between tools, basic research then acting on it, editing things inside actual apps.
If it holds up, a lot of the small repetitive work that eats time could finally get cheaper and less fragile.
"But Opus can do it better" - yes ofc, but Opus isn't cheap. Low end models are enterprise favourites for a reason

People were dissing about Terra that it should be removed.
But I think Terra & Anthropic's Haiku will have a user base. Low end models need to find the right adaptive use cases.
But yeah, it shouldn't be for these flashy video-graphic demoes.
Hope this has a reasonable consumption of credits.

End of an Era, #Bleach was spectacular. Few hiccups at 48 and 49, but my nostalgic side of the brain stops me from overthinking. Thank you Kubo Sensei.
Off to CFYOW and Hell arc
