One of the biggest opportunities when it comes to Onchain FX is the ability to disrupt pre-funding by using DeFi liquidity pools.
A lot of other players have built request for quote (RFQ) systems or central limit order books, these are fine but at some point, demand for USD outstrips the local currency and the systems will stall.
ViFi fixes this by paying LPs in USD for emerging market pairs. For the first time, LPs don’t have to take exposure in Pesos or Lira. We unlock deeper liquidity by making sure LPs get paid, it’s just that simple. Testnet is out, mainnet before the end of the year!
You can move a billion dollars onchain in seconds. You still can't move a million dollars into naira, pesos or shillings the same way.

It was awesome having the opportunity to give my workshop at the @AIconference representing @hedera a few weeks back in SF!
I had the pleasure of talking to so many people building and/or interested in AI, especially those interested in Agentic Commerce (aCommerce) and how agents will be paying for goods and services online in the future.
Traditional eCommerce was made for humans and the framework for how we build consumer based shopping experiences online will have to evolve to support agents.
