Almost 6 days this took to appear for me. I had to authenticate my humanity, too, which feels like a humiliation ritual.
X needs to fix whatever the fuck this is. The false positives are malicious.
It's classic "we'll do better next time" bullshit from someone who admits they ignored you the first time.
That's how it always goes. "You were right you guys. Vote for us again and we'll say you were right after ignoring you again the next time."
Vance says "you warned us and you were right but we didn't listen" and everyone is ready to forgive and elect him again for another go.
Enjoy not being listened to again and again, because that's what you get from someone who didn't listen the first time.

How about rewarding this kind of behaviour WHEN IT MATTERS, and not long after it would matter.
"Fell for it again" awards 🥇 go out to everyone who believes "we'll do better next time" … bitch do better the first time.
This is why Lindsay Graham went to Ukraine, and lobbied for their funding so vehemently.
Ukraine and Israel were the two places on earth that would allow him to jerk off while thugs torture twinks for him.
Remember the 14-year-old boy who was brought out yesterday from Azov’s secret detention facility in Petropavlivska Borshchahivka, near Kyiv, where mobilized men and deserters were allegedly being beaten and held against thier will?
Well, the boy is now in hospital.
He has recorded a video telling his side of the story.
And what a charming little tale of military honor and Ukrainian democracy it is.
According to the boy, he came to the protest and climbed onto a fence. That's when soldiers struck him with a shovel, knocking him down onto the facility's grounds. They then dragged him inside and started beating him.
Yes, beating a 14-year-old child.
Not that his age was some great mystery. One look at his face and you can see he's a kid. Apparently, that wasn't quite obvious enough for these brave warriors.
But it gets worse.
The boy says they didn't just beat him. They cut the clothes off his body, including his underwear, leaving him standing in front of them "almost naked."
And that, dear friends, raises serious questions of sexual violence and degrading treatment of a child. Allegedly perpetrated by Ukrainian servicemen.
The beating, he says, stopped only when Budanov arrived.
Meanwhile, Azov's propaganda machine and its loyal cheerleaders have already rolled out their crisis-management circus: the boy was a "provocateur."
Ah, yes. The classic defense. When a child ends up in hospital, simply rebrand him as a national security threat. Problem solved. Perhaps they'll award themselves medals for neutralizing a teenager armed with the terrifying weapon of climbing a fence.
Except the story appears to be rather more complicated.
The boy alleges he was a victim of violence at the hands of Ukrainian soldiers.
So who is going to answer for the ill-treatment, humiliation, and degrading treatment of a child?
Where the hell is Ukraine's Human Rights Ombudsman? Has he misplaced the address of the hospital? Or is visiting an allegedly abused Ukrainian child simply not on today's democracy-defending itinerary?
And where is Zelensky?
Why hasn't he visited the boy in hospital? Oh, right. He had more pressing business in Germany, asking for more money.
Zelensky does love telling the world how much children matter to him.
Apparently, some children make better speeches than hospital visits.
So when, exactly, does this grotesque circus of the Zelensky mafia finally come to an end?
And how many more victims will it take before someone remembers that human rights are supposed to apply to actual human beings — including children — rather than merely serving as decorative slogans for international donors?
Now? Neither.
Mandarin was the winner before AI became basically the Star Trek universal translator.
By the time you're done learning how to order a pork dish in Mandarin without accidentally declaring yourself a trans hooker, with your poor intonation, the universal translators will be ready to clip to your red shirt.
I'm not a religious person but I think the correct phrase here is…
May the Lord have mercy on our souls.
The idea that Netanyahu even has access to this kind of "pressure" to apply on the US, is embarrassing to America. Nevermind that American government and military ranks are so infested with double agents, that this kind of action is even being considered in this century.
America remains the only nation ever to use nuclear weapons against an adversary, and the primary reason it fears others, is because they don't find their use unconscionable.
The world is run by absolute psychopaths, and in particular this administration is packed with retarded psychopaths, barely capable of any forethought whatsoever.
If America uses nukes again, it will shift everyone's footing toward war. It will cement America's position as a country that can't be negotiated with. A country that will always prefer violence over sharing the world with others.
This will not end well for humanity.
Under pressure from Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Trump administration may be within days of launching a nuclear strike on Iran. The target would be Pickax Mountain in central Iran, where Israeli intelligence claims the Iranian government has restarted its nuclear enrichment program. No conventional weapon in the American arsenal can penetrate 300 feet of solid granite to destroy the tunnels where enrichment is supposedly taking place. The only military option is a nuclear strike. Netanyahu has been pushing hard for one. “Bibi calls Trump about it every day,” says an informed observer.
Netanyahu is cornered and desperate. After last week’s election results, he can’t form a government unless Trump intervenes directly in Israeli politics and brokers a deal with other parties that gives Netanyahu 61 seats in the Knesset. Otherwise, he is out as prime minister and on his way to ignominy, investigations and possibly jail. Netanyahu must stay close to Trump. He needs this war.
To that end, he’s applied maximum pressure to his closest allies in the administration, including Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and CENTCOM commander Brad Cooper. Both oppose a negotiated settlement to the war they’ve so grievously mismanaged; both are pushing to restart major combat operations. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and CIA director John Ratcliffe are also following Netanyahu’s lead, as are leaders of the Democratic Party. In a recent meeting on the subject, former president Barack Obama said he opposes the current Iran peace deal being drafted in Doha.
The rest of America’s longtime allies in the Middle East are terrified by the prospect of more war. On September 27th, Netanyahu flew secretly to Abu Dhabi to enlist the UAE in his lobbying effort for a final attack on Iran. The Emiratis refused. After eight months of conflict, Gulf economies are teetering. So are global energy and fertilizer markets. They won’t recover soon. Globally, there are a total of about 850 supertankers used to transport oil from producers to the rest of the world. In October alone, 11 of them were badly damaged in Hormuz. At this pace, a global depression is imminent. A nuclear strike would radically accelerate the destruction. Fallout from a ground explosion at Pickax Mountain would contaminate the Persian Gulf, poisoning the water supply for 100 million people.
And those are just some of the immediate consequences for the region. The rest of the world is every bit as exposed. No country other than the United States has ever used a nuclear weapon in war. Some would like to. An American nuclear attack on Iran would set a new precedent. The Russians have already told at least two other governments that an American nuclear strike on Iran would free them to use nuclear weapons against Ukraine. Pakistan and India would be tempted to do the same against each other, as would North Korea against Seoul. After the first nuclear strike, World War Three is inevitable. That war would be short and final.
We’ve been sleepwalking toward this moment for months. Since February, the administration has quietly rewritten America’s nuclear doctrine to make first use of so-called “battlefield nukes” easier and therefore more likely. No one in Washington in either party seems bothered by this. Now we’re on the brink of it.
Close observers say Trump is likely to decide by next weekend whether or not to use nuclear weapons. That would be November 7, six days from now. To his credit, he’s hesitating. At the moment, Trump is listening to his vice president, JD Vance, and to his envoy and friend Steve Witkoff, both of whom argue a deal with Iran can be made.
They’re right, though it won’t be simple. The Iranians are famously frustrating to negotiate with under any circumstances, and elements of that government have become more radical since Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and his family were killed in February. After decades of isolation, even relatively moderate Iranian leaders seem confused by how decisions are made in the West. (There is a widespread belief in Tehran, for example, that the United States government controls Israel.) But overall, people who have spoken to decision-makers in Iran say there is consensus there that more war is bad for everyone and a deal is worth making.
One group that hasn’t been consulted so far is the global population — the hundreds of millions of people who will be killed along with their children if Trump is pushed by Netanyahu into launching a nuclear strike next week. Now would be the time for them to speak up.
The dumbening of society has been rapid and catastrophic.
It was bad even then. This is one of the last shows to treat audiences as thinking people.
The dumbening will continue until you all vote the way the algorithm tells you to vote.

I still struggle to believe this is a real question from a practice test for the new SAT, but it is.
This is an accurate explanation for the basis of Brandolini's Law (aka the Bullshit Asymmetry Principle).
It's why any lofty notions that societal bifurcation can be undone, are just silly fantasies. The divide between the informed and the violently uninformed is not repairable.
Halloween coming to Australia is the shittiest thing to happen to this country in the last 10-15 years.
And yes, that includes Covid.
This ritual is a pathetic mind-disease caused by exposure to the television. The symptoms are an orange Chinese plastic pox breaking out on everything.

You can cancel an election and ban the winner from running (Romania), you can ban your opponents from ever running again (Hungary), you can threaten to ban the main opposition party and subject it to relentless investigations by the secret police (Germany), you can threaten a ban on the leading presidential candidate and make them wear an ankle monitor (France), every member of your circle can be investigated for corruption (Spain), you can try and cancel local elections because you will lose them (Britain), and you can storm the constitutional court with riot police because you want to control it (Poland).
You can just do all these things. The secret is you just have to be on the right side of the European Commission.
