Through Call Forwarding Scams, cyber criminals use fake customer care calls, phishing links, USSD codes, and social engineering tactics to trick users into diverting their calls to fraudsters’ numbers.
Once activated, scammers may gain access to:
• OTPs
• Bank verification calls
• Important personal or financial calls
