8 things to tell your brain every day (backed by neuroscience and scripture)
Your brain will treat whatever you feed it as true. So put yourself back in charge.
Here’s what I say:
1. I’m safe right now.
2. I can change my brain.
3. I’m enough.
4. Mistakes are how I grow.
5. Not everything I think is true.
6. My presence matters.
7. Every day is a new opportunity.
8. Stop saying “why.” Start saying “what’s next.”
This isn’t positive thinking. It’s taking thoughts captive and giving your brain a different command. (Romans 12:2 has been saying this longer than neuroscience has.)
Save this so you can review the list later. Share it with someone who needs to hear it.

I debated whether or not to post today's Texas Quote of the Day, being that it borders on profane. But, in this hyper-partisan political era, I thought that it expresses a relevant thought about fellowship and the brotherhood of mankind in a way that only a Texan can:
“You develop an instant global consciousness, a people orientation, an intense dissatisfaction with the state of the world, and a compulsion to do something about it. From out there on the moon, international politics look so petty. You want to grab a politician by the scruff of the neck and drag him a quarter of a million miles out and say, ‘Look at that, you son of a b*tch.'”
― Edgar Mitchell, Apollo 14 astronaut and one of only 12 men to walk on the moon. Edgar was born in Hereford, Texas in 1930. Here's a photo of Edgar on the moon in 1971.
Never did care for boiled eggs but deviled eggs, yum.
The hard boiled eggs at the hotel breakfast weren't boiled there. They came peeled, in brine.
The foodservice case is a 25 lb tub. The label reads hard cooked eggs, water, citric acid, sodium benzoate and nisin preparation as preservatives. Shelf life is 56 days in the cooler. A plant cooks the eggs in a continuous boiler, cracks and peels them with rollers and water jets, and floats them in the tub. The kitchen opens it, drains a hotel pan's worth and sets it out.
A peeled egg is wet, high in protein and sits at a pH bacteria like, so the acid drops the pH and the benzoate stops yeast and mold. Nisin is a peptide made by a dairy bacterium, and it's in there for Listeria. A 2019 Listeria outbreak traced to a Georgia plant that peels eggs made 7 people sick in 5 states, hospitalized 4 and killed 1.

Had a patient recently come see me with Stage 4 metastatic colon cancer, at the young age of 37.
The majority of his treatment and surgeries were completed at MD Anderson in Houston, often ranked among the top Cancer hospitals in the world.
He sought me because his oncologist would not prescribe any ‘non-traditional’ medications like ivermectin, Fenbendazole, or Mebendazole.
Before you jump to conclusions and start rambling about anti-parasitic, let’s talk about how each of these works in the body.
Ivermectin works in cancer on WNT/TCF and PAK1→Akt/mTOR inhibition, mitochondrial respiratory suppression, chloride-driven hyperpolarization, and P2X4/P2X7-linked immunogenic cell death.
Fenbendazole works for cancer by impacting mitochondrial translocation of p53 and inhibition of glucose uptake, GLUT transporter expression, and hexokinase II, on top of moderate microtubule destabilization.
Mebendazole's main mechanisms regarding cancer are still β-tubulin binding, VEGFR2 inhibition, and Hedgehog inhibition. This in turn leads to reduced glutamine markers which have downstream effects.
[Notice I didn’t say anything about parasites there.
Feel free to show this tweet to someone who doesn’t know any better.]
The oncologist actually supported their use but likely due to ‘politics’ couldn’t personally prescribe them.
So instead of 1 doctor managing all of his cancer care, he has like 5.
Unfortunate but becoming increasingly common.
At the end of the care you have to be AN ADVOCATE for yourself.
If you don’t like the answers you are getting (in medicine), continue to seek out providers until you do.
The more I learn from this account, the more I want grow all my own food. Today’s plan is to get at least a few things planted. Never take your health for granted.
Mission flour tortillas have 11 ingredients. A tortilla needs 4, flour, water, fat and salt.
The bag lists enriched bleached flour, water, vegetable shortening made from interesterified and hydrogenated soybean oils, then 2% or less of salt, sugar, baking soda, sodium acid pyrophosphate, distilled monoglycerides, fumaric acid, calcium propionate and sorbic acid.
The shortening is soybean oil that was hardened in a reactor so it acts like lard at room temperature. Baking soda and sodium acid pyrophosphate are a baking powder split in two, so the tortilla puffs on the hot plate in the plant. Distilled monoglycerides are an emulsifier. They keep the starch from going stale and hard, which is why a Mission tortilla is still soft weeks after you bought it. Fumaric acid drops the pH, and calcium propionate and sorbic acid stop mold in a bag that isn't refrigerated.
Correct.
Using Starlink, a civilian commercial service, for offensive drone strikes to kill people has never been allowed, nor should it be.
Starshield, a different system, is controlled by the US government. What they decide to do is up to them.
Ukraine military violated Starlink terms of service and used it for offensive drone strikes to kill people. That loophole was closed last week.
Starlink remains critical to the defense of Ukraine, as it is the only system that cannot be jammed or blown up, at least for now. Were Starlink to be turned off, the Ukrainian front line would collapse immediately. This is NOT a threat, it is simply a statement of fact.
Starlink was also crucial to preventing Russia from overrunning Ukraine in the early days of the war, as all other means of communication were destroyed or jammed by Russia.
SpaceX has done more to defend Ukraine than any private company on Earth BY FAR.
That said, I have nothing but UTTER CONTEMPT for the virtue-signaling evil warmongers who push for endless slaughter and offer no realistic solution to the conflict. May you burn in hell.
End of story.
