Three years ago today, Hamas terrorists tortured, mutilated, and murdered 1,200 innocent civilians in Israel.
Among those slain were men, women, and children — including dozens of Americans.
We will never forget this act of barbarism against an ally and recommit ourselves to the defense of civilization.

Today is the anniversary of the debut of the “Come and Take It” flag and the Battle of Gonzales.
The founding fathers of our great state put EVERYTHING on the line to secure freedom and liberty for generations to come… and they didn’t back down from a fight most believed they would lose.
Thank God these brave heroes were NOT “go along to get along” types!
Today, we want to believe that spirit lives on… and I believe it definitely does in most Texans!
But, unfortunately, too many politicians seem to have forgotten that spirit.
Texas needs leaders with courage to fight for what’s right, even if it costs them, to preserve LIBERTY for years to come!!
I haven’t forgotten our founding story, or the sacrifices so many made so we can enjoy the freedoms our Creator intended.
And that’s why I’m so committed to fighting for you, freedom, and the great state of Texas!
Let’s honor the sacrifices of those who came before us by redoubling our commitment to making Texas the leading lighthouse of liberty on Earth!
Never forget!
🕊 The missing Twin Towers returned to New York for a few minutes
A light show was held on the eve of the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks.
The drones first rose into the night sky in a spiral, then formed the outlines of the destroyed World Trade Center towers.
The installation used 2,977 drones — one for each person killed in the attacks.

On this Memorial Day, we pause to remember that the freedoms we enjoy were purchased at a great cost.
Today, I am especially mindful of my uncle, SP4 David Lee Lockard, who gave his life in Vietnam in 1968. His sacrifice, and that of so many others, serves as a powerful reminder that liberty is never free—it is secured and preserved by those willing to give everything in its defense.

Active and former law enforcement professionals are not only leaders in our communities—they’re leaders in our churches and families as well. Yet, they face daily threats, heavy stress, and deep fatigue. When someone chooses to serve as a public servant, their entire family shares in the challenges, sacrifices, and triumphs of that calling.
That’s why I’m proud to support a new ministry called FaithLine—a community of Christian law enforcement professionals committed to encouraging one another, seeking wisdom, offering prayer, and finding strength through fellowship. FaithLine exists to serve those who protect and serve us.
On Saturday, April 25th, Ely Perez and Bridgeway Church will host a special information and fellowship event for law enforcement families from across the Coastal Bend. The brunch will include a shared meal and a presentation from Lynn Floyd, FaithLine’s Director and Founder, who will share the ministry’s mission, his personal calling, and invite your ideas and involvement.
Please join us as we work together to uplift and support law enforcement professionals and their families—those who courageously stand between order and chaos every day.

We are currently facing a spiritual battle in our country. Satan is targeting the very moral fabric of our nation and the teaching of God's Word. We no longer call sin by its name. What was once considered wrong is now seen as right, and what used to be regarded as evil has become accepted in our society. The enemy is using politicians and the national media to conceal what was once recognized as wicked behavior. Attacks on the Christian faith and our beliefs have become normalized. There is an antichrist movement in American culture, politics, media, and society today. As followers of Jesus, we can not surrender our faith. We must not remain silent as the moral fabric of our nation is collapsing. Yes, people have the right to live as they choose, but we also have the responsibility to declare that the wages of sin are death, but the gift of God is eternal life. Yes, we love our neighbors enough to declare God's love and redemptive power. God calls us to flee sin, resist evil, love our neighbor, and live according to his word.
