My computer has been "dinging" like it's found a device for months. At some point, I just muted the system sounds (like putting tape over the check-engine-light). I was finally tired of it. I used AI to help me locate exactly what was wrong. It was the USB hub in my monitor.

I want to coin a term: appmogging. appmogging (verb) — rapidly building an AI-assisted app that makes an established product look bloated, overpriced, overbuilt, or slow by reproducing its useful functionality with a fraction of the resources. 1/15

So maybe the goal isn’t to prevent appmogging. It's to become **appmog-resistant**. My rough formula: Appmog resistance = domain knowledge × data × ecosystem × distribution × network × rate of adaptation Notice what’s missing: lines of code. 14/15
