Today in history Marks the 1st time I heard my kid swear. There was vast speculation, previous bribery attempts, & much friend pressure with 0 results. Today it happened She's is 18-yo & in college - it was the mother of all swear words Fucking Amazing

3-year degrees are gaining momentum. NYU President Linda Mills: “Universities are due for another evolution: offering 90-credit, three-year bachelor’s degrees in fields that demand immediate workforce development.” “Four years of college is not an inviolable standard.”

Thanks for all the great feedback on Claude for iPhone Duo! Lots of folk are now optimising their own Duo apps, so I wanted to share more about how we built it, and a few of the details we sweated along the way.
Here's the new Claude experience on the iPhone Duo! It's going to be amazing for multitasking, Claude Code, and creating new things. Looking forward to see folk start using it tomorrow!

I’ve left Anthropic after more than a year of working on Claude Code and seeing it scale larger than I ever imagined. I have really loved working at Ant and believe deeply in the mission, and most of all, the idea of a race to the top. The idea that if we work hard and responsibly, we can raise the bar and inspire others to great outcomes. And if we all push each other to be better, things can be radically good. I will carry the spirit of this with me forever. My colleagues at Anthropic are the most talented, thoughtful, competent, and earnest people I have ever met. I am glad they are at the wheel and trust them deeply. To the community on X, thank you for everything. You’ve made this the most fun (and sometimes stressful) job I’ve ever had. For me, it is time for a bit of a break before diving into something new. If you want more excellent Claude Code content, you should follow @addyosmani , @lydiahallie, @_catwu, @ClaudeDevs and of course @bcherny who started it all.

Customers, partners, and industry leaders joined us for an evening on the part of AI infrastructure nobody talks about enough: the network. Spoiler: it’s the bottleneck. And we’re here to fix it. Hit play for the highlights 👇 Danke to everyone who came. This is just the beginning. @MFelsberg_Aria @mansourkaram @djspry

Yes it's true. We use code mode & tool search across ChatGPT and Codex now. Our current limit of tools per MCP server is ~2k, but that's really only there to prevent abuse. We have plenty of MCP servers that are in the hundreds and even some in the thousands. Even Cloudflare is about to serve their raw toolset of 3k tools to ChatGPT instead of code mode! Go watch @sarfata's keynote at MCPCon this week for more fun stats :)
there's a nascent trend of hiding MCP tools behind two generic tools: search & execute. i don't think it's a good default. this basically means implementing tool search & code mode on each MCP server. but clients like codex already have tool search & code mode that a/ work across all MCP servers and b/ we train our models to be great at! why make every MCP server build that layer and then make the model navigate both, including a custom one on each MCP server that it isn't trained to be great at?! expose your actual tools and let clients* find and compose them. *clients that support tool search & code mode like ChatGPT and Codex

Instinct seems to have completely lost mindshare in my network. Current split: @Muse for personal, @bot for work.
Too many AI personal assistants, too little time to assess all of them. Nice work here: assistantbenchmark.com

Vibe coded my parents' TV this afternoon! It was showing a sponsored ad before you could even get to Netflix. Gave Claude Code the model number, it found the TV on wifi, removed 25 Xiaomi packages and wrote a new launcher. Looks like an Apple TV now lol

Apparently, the slow network walkers are becoming famous. And increasingly in demand. 🤭 OCP 2026 has been quite a week! Jokes aside, there were some great conversations with customers, partners and people building the next generation of AI infrastructure. One thing is clear: the race to build AI factories is accelerating. And as these systems scale, the network becomes ever more critical. But remember: Demand will fill your AI factory. Performance will define its value. Thanks to everyone who connected with us in San Jose this week. What caught your attention at OCP this year? Let us know in the comments. #AriaNetworks #OCP2026

🏆A win and a runner-up finish for Aria Networks at the 2026 @SONiC_Fund 2026 Hackathon! Our team took on multiple challenges and came away 🥇 Winners in AI + Debugging & Root-Cause Analysis with our SONiC Root Cause Analyzer, and 🥈 Runner-up in AI Agents for Networking. 32 teams from 13 organizations took part. We’re building a team with deep technical talent, people who know networking and AI and aren’t afraid to tackle the hard problems. This recognition is proof of that. And we're only getting started. Huge congratulations to Krishnamurthy Mayya, Sudharshan, Shankar Vaideeswaran, Saravanakumar Venkat, Shrey Shah and everyone who made this happen. Great work! We're planning a technical deep dive on what the team built, so stay tuned for that on our blog. If you want to help shape the future of AI networking alongside a team like this, come talk to us. 👇🏻 arianetworks.com #SONiC #SONiCHackathon #OCPGlobalSummit #OpenNetworking
