A company sent an AI recruiter to interview him, so he sent his own AI agent instead
The two AIs discussed the job between themselves. No human was on the call
Then both of them glitched, and got stuck saying goodbye to each other. Endlessly

A scientist in Japan demonstrated that the air inside a forest strengthens your immune system for a full month
The study is incredibly fascinating:
Qing Li, an immunologist at Nippon Medical School in Tokyo, took 12 men on a 3-day forest trip. These were slow walks with no breathing exercises and no set route.
Then he tested their blood and found a surge in natural killer cells -- the immune cells your body uses to fight cancer and virus-infected cells.
Remarkably, the effect didn't fade when they went home, it was still measurable 30 days later.
A control group that walked the same distance through a city showed no change at all.
Pine, cedar, and cypress trees release compounds called phytoncides to defend themselves from insects and bacteria. You breathe them in, and Li believes they switch your immune cells into high gear.
He estimates one forest walk a month may be enough to keep those cells elevated all year.
The best medicine might not even need a prescription -- just a walk among the trees.

White American students at university of Texas doing namaz (prayer). I’ve hit my limit of pretending this is remotely normal. This is the peak of mass delusional brainwashed perverse cosplay. Please make it stop. I can’t take another day of it.
I'm an Iranian woman and have lived under the Islamic Republic for 20,5 years. I moved to Germany because I thought the values I considered important would be respected in "free" Western countries.
People cannot even imagine how triggering it is for us to see the unholy unity of islamists and radical leftists. This is the very phenomena that changed the history of my country for the worse. I am beyond disgusted and disturbed.
To the women standing behind literal terrorists and islamists saying prayers at universities: You don't even know what you're getting yourself into. None of you have read the "Al Nisa" surah, where it is clearly stated that men literally own you and have the right to hit you if you refuse to have sex with them:
"Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allah has given the one more (strength) than the other, and because they support them from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient, and guard in (the husband's) absence what Allah would have them guard. As to those women on whose part ye fear disloyalty and ill-conduct, admonish them (first), (Next), refuse to share their beds, (And last) beat them (lightly); but if they return to obedience, seek not against them Means (of annoyance): For Allah is Most High, great (above you all)."
What you are standing up for today is anything but being "woke" and progressive. You should have the right to protest and stand up for causes that are important to you. But fighting Jewish students, attacking them, not understanding the fact that the hostages have to be brought back home and no peace can exist before that happens is outright wrong. People who truly advocate about and fight for human rights are NOT selective with the causes they care about. Caring about human rights is one thing, standing up behind Islamists, waving Hezbollah and Hamas flags and saying slogans that are against Jews and outright radical are not it.

Are medical studies being written with ChatGPT?
Well, we all know ChatGPT overuses the word "delve".
Look below at how often the word 'delve' is used in papers on PubMed (2023 was the first full year of ChatGPT).

"We do these things not because they are easy, but because we thought they were going to be easy" is a surprisingly profound quote. When I ask people who've pulled off remarkable things, it's interesting how many confirm that they wouldn't have started if they'd know how long and difficult the road would be.

there will be an inflection point where the public views a doctor not using AI to be more dangerous to see than a doctor that does use AI,
At the point you're going to start seeing "we use AI" as a part of the marketing to get patients

Researchers pittted ChatGPT against genuine doctors, using actual patient questions.
ChatGPT was more accurate and more empathetic.
By a lot.

Why did we ever force doctors to learn their profession in such an exhausting, sleepless way?
The answer originates with the esteemed physician William Stewart Halsted, MD.

Well there is an added variable which is dilution. We do see founders decide to go for the super low dilution round at high valuation and then fail to give themselves enough space to get to the next stage. That does happen.
But if you can command a higher valuation it does usually make sense to take more money to derisk and give yourself more room for error. It’s PMF or nothing.

The most unfair states tend to be democratic. Idaho is very green, NY very red (unfair). – at Colorado, USA
