How well do companies truly understand their customers? We need to (and can) gain more empathy through understanding the full customer experience. Again, walk the talk. @Contentsquare #AdobeSummit

I hope you found this thread helpful. Know your bodies. Pay attention to fatigue and changes in bowel/urinary tract movements. Make sure you understand all the words on a medical report. Do not dismiss your pain or malaise. Find the expert doctors.
Getting $10,000 for turning in your neighbor for having a medical procedure is Handmaids shit. You all see that, right?

So Texas is trying to make it harder to vote, nearly impossible to get an abortion, & now wants to support people carrying handguns without a license (which means no background check or training)? I’ll take my CA crazy over TX crazy every day. And believe me, there’s a lot here.
NEW: Texas lawmakers passed a bill to allow people to carry handguns without a license, background check or training. The measure now heads to Gov. Greg Abbott, who has said he will sign it. trib.al/wizST89

Having a sense of humor about my city is important (minimizes the crying and screaming). #SanFrancisco

I loathed this man before, but I hate him now: npr.org/2021/04/28/991582114… This horrific 'hunt' was in 2013, not that the year changes anything about this horror. This article is not for the faint of heart (or any decent human being).

If your vote didn't matter, then Republicans in 47 states wouldn't have just introduced 361 bills to try and take it away.

I suggest everyone read this thread and relearn our history. Pitting minorities against each other (and poor/working class white ppl for that matter) has and still only serves to protect those with the most power and money. #standagainsthate
Last night's shooting & the appalling rise of anti-Asian violence stem frm a sick society where nationalism has again been stoked & normalized. Anti-Black & anti-Asian racism & violence run in tandem in the U.S. Both grps were brought here for labor but never meant to be citizens
Some levity at the end of the week...
Who made this? This made me laugh so hard 😅. After receiving four calls today about an extended car warranty I honestly believe they would go this far. With the misspelling and all.
I’m so done with our BoE.
The SFUSD school board vote on a tentative labor deal on health and safety reopening requirements has been delayed. Instead, the board will be in closed session tonight over a legal issue, reportedly related to the renaming of 44 schools. It's unclear why the board can't do both.

Storm the Capitol as a white adult and you get organic food and a vacation to Mexico. Be upset and afraid as a 9 year old black girl and you get handcuffed and pepper sprayed. If you’re ok with this, please do me a favor and block me immediately.

So true. Breaking bread with others, learning about other people’s experiences and culture, seeing the commonalities, are things I value immensely and miss dearly after a year of not traveling.
Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one’s lifetime. —Mark Twain

A smart and simple suggestion. If a policy doesn't work well, adjust and try again. Doses are getting tossed out in many hospitals and localities and it could cost lives and yes, waste money that went to manufacture, deliver and store those doses.
The vaccine distribution policy should've been "follow prioritization rules until 4pm, then do first-come-first-serve until supplies run out for the day." Logical if you otherwise have to throw them out at the end of the day.

If there was a functioning government we’d be seeing regular press conferences on arrests, health of the Wednesday victims, details of the status of the investigation. To the best of my knowledge there hasn’t been a single one so far.
