The tradition goes back almost 10 years with Coach Torpey. The staff pulls the first few X’s off, then after each practice players recognize a teammate who stood out and pull their X off. It’s a player driven way of saying “Welcome to the team, you earned it” in the current year. The team doesn’t get their new helmet stickers until all the X’s are off. Awesome yearly tradition Coach Torpey has carried with him throughout his years as a head coach and now at @BrownU_MLAX

Very long known in PLL circles but now public. Graeme Hossack will not play field lacrosse this summer. His summer box rights are owned by, you guessed it, the Six Nations Chiefs.
